Attached letter has detailed summary of discrepancies. Complaint is that RamJack did not complete the signed scoped of work in full or in a reasonable amount of time. I verbally and in writing expressed concern about these items and was ignored. Of concern is the improper install / service provided for the following items: 1. Waterproofing - Completed by a third party company per SOW. The front half of the house was completed by RamJack using APOC 301. Sales manager Chris C****** noted Mar-Flex would typically be used which is a WATERproofing product. APOC was used which is a DAMP-proofing product and was not installed per manufacterer specification. Surface was not cleaned/pressure washed first and installed only one coat... not to mention its NOT a waterproofing product. (Note: 3rd party waterproofer installed a very heavy coat on the back of the house with insulation and noted that the house was not properly prepared). Half of service area is NOT properly waterproofed. 2. Egress Window - We are under contract for a combination 31x41" window/egress/ladder system which was not installed. I have a 31x31" window with no ladder and a make shift (not integrated) cover that blocks the window from opening. I do NOT have a viable egress. 3. Drainage - Back corner of my home is an area of water intrusion. They installed a replacement window well below grade and draining towards the back corner of the home. Additional repairs left include 3 service request to Verizon for broken internet line/box, composite shakes on the back of my house were damaged and just glued into place (poor workmanship), tree stump to dig up at front corner of house, replace/modify makeshift egress window cover so it can open, caulk/paint/seal egress window, correct grading at back corner of home. I am not paying for incomplete service or improperly installed products. RamJack will not be able to provide evidence any of these items were properly installed or completed.

I dont know if this would help but my desired outcome for a billing adjustment can be a little more specific. I have already paid half of the total contract for  $12,750. I am happy to call that the total payment and not asking for anything to be returned. In scoping out the project originally one of the bids they provided was for approximately $11600 which is effectively the amount of work they actually did correctly so it appears to be a fair number to pay another $1000 on top of it. Trying to be reasonable here...
