  We hired Westmoreland Concrete INC back in April to complete a job of pouring a driveway, garage floor and patio. Then they finally came in July to complete the work and planned to come while I was on vacation which they ensured it was not an issue. The work was finally completed while we were on vacation. The driveway has huge hump in the middle of the driveway and the the driveway is lopsided. They refused to dig out the driveway more so that there would be less of a hump. We were told we'll need to get top soil to backfill to the edges so the gravel won't come out. the edge of the driveway has a huge dropoff to the grass which is not what we wanted. the garage floor has humps and is not smooth, We had a huge rainstorm the day after they completed the work and the garage filled with water and now it's already stained. The company did not dig out the backyard to put the patio level to the backdoor of the house. They did not put a drain in by the back door either so now in that same rainstorm we got water in our basement which has never been an issue before. I had to complain about that so it would be cleaned up. We now have to look into either getting the patio redone or waterproofing our basement. And we have to figure out something with the garage so we don't have standing water all the time. The company left gravel and dried up cement all over my yard so that when we came back from vacation and my son was trying to do yard work, the weed whacker hit a piece of gravel he did not see and it flew up and broke the window of my van. So now that needs replaced as well. And then our other concerns were not addressed to our liking. They are also now accusing us of removing the caution tape they put up to park in the driveway before 72 hours. We were on vacation while all of this was done and I have ring video proof that they took down the caution tape the day after the pour and never told us that we could not park on the driveway for 72 hours.

  Please be advised that this firm has been retained by Westmoreland Concrete, Inc. ("Westmoreland Concrete"), with respect to the above referenced matter. It is my intent to notify the Better Business Bureau that my client denies all allegations stated in the Consumer's Complaint. After a careful review of the facts, circumstances, photographs, etc. Westmoreland Concrete completed its contractual obligations at *** ********* residence fully and well within industry standards. The complaints/issues tha* *** ******* outline in her complaint is without merit. 

  That said, Westmoreland Concrete is now making attempts to resolve this matter amicably with *** ******** Should this matter not be resolved amongst the parties, Westmoreland Concrete will seek redress and pursue its contractual rights in a court of competent jurisdiction. 
  For the purposes of your investigation into this matter, kindly notify my office of any evidence, contracts, photographs, or other materials you may require.
