    I received a quote to ship my car from CA to ** with ProShip Auto Transport. I was happy to pay the price of $700, and signed a contract stating as much on May 4th, but as the date of the shipment got nearer, I failed to hear from the broker, ****, and had to reach out multiple times to confirm that my car would be picked up, and I was assured, multiple times, that it would be. However by May 31st, the day before the car needed to be picked up, I was told they had not found a driver - none had accepted the price ProShip Auto had offered me. When I was subsequently forced to go with a different company for a much higher price, I received threatening calls and harassing texts from ****, the broker. After I had already shipped my car with the other company, **** claimed that he knew the other company didnt have anyone to pick up my car (despite it already being in transit) and offered to charge more than double our agreed upon price, $1600, to ship my car. This company relies on bait and switch techniques-they reel you in with low quotes, but will not come through at that rate. You will be left scrambling at the last minute, like I was.
