      My deceased father is buried at greenwood memorial ***********************. My mother and father purchased their plots here over 25 years ago. My grandparents and uncle are already buried there and we have purchased two benches most recently a 7000 one for my father. My sister and her spouse have plots there also. My complaint is that he is a veteran and yet we still have no grave marker!!! I have been around and around with this and cannot provide a discharge paper that satisfies anybody. I do not wish to work with the office personnel because two months ago I was beat down and just ready to pay for this item so that my 89 year old mother can see her husband of 71 years have an adequate grave marker with a case to place flowers in. Its truly frustrating and heartbreaking. I left a message and no call back. Which seems to be a running theme whilst dealing with all these issues since December 2023 when he passed. His paperwork was burnt in the big fire apparently that damaged old records of the military. The family just wants to put this to rest and get a dang marker on his grave. I have provided the only documentation I can find and I have held numerous calls with folks at the Missouri record center for military archives to no avail.

      Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the complaint issued by Mrs. ******** *****.   We put a lot of pride in our customer service and strive to make sure all of our families are treated with respect and the way we would want our own family to be treated and heard.

      I am sorry that Mrs. ***** did not feel that way.  We did try and assist her with her fathers government memorial.  Unfortunately, when it comes to ordering a government memorial, the government requires certain forms to be provided.  Mrs. ***** and her family could not produce the DD214 for her father.  We had no control over that situation.

      Mr. ********* has spoken with Mrs. ***** since the complaint was filed.  He has worked out a great solution for her and her family with a large discount for them to purchase a government matching memorial from us for her father.  He has already received the signed, paid-in-full contract back from ******************************* provided Mrs. ***** with several marker designs to choose between. He has also sent her additional information that she had requested.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. 

      I wanted to reach out and let you know that after I filed my complaint, I received a call from *** at the business within 12 hours.   
      We have spoken and came to a mutual agreed solution. 
      We have been working together to get a marker on my deceased fathers grave.   I am happy to report at this time it is on order and set to be installed in approximately the next 60 days. 
      I am content at this time and will update again with new review once it has been satisfactorily installed!
