    My breaker in my apartment has been popped for 3 days now. No one is responding to my maintenance calls. I do not have access to the breaker boxes. My car was towed my 9th day living at this address even with a valid parking permit.

    This apartment building has immense code violations that they continually fail to repair. The elevators are broken, mold, mice, roaches, unsafe stairwells and structures, leaks, no window screens, broken windows and entry doors, not secure, filthy trash rooms, poor lighting, weed and cigarettes on the premises, broken walls and sidewalks, animal waste everywhere. This building is just about inhabitable and we pay too much in rent to live in filthy conditions. They lie about renovations. Its not a safe dwelling. Complaints and concerns seem to be ignored by the same quote that they are planning renovations. Its unsafe and unhealthy here!

    We received the attached complaint in the mail this morning.

    I would like to shed some light to you in regards to ******* ******* concerns.

    The elevators- the building that ******* resides in has 4 elevators. 3 out of 4 of them are in the process of getting replaced soon. They are in the process of finalizing the modernizations/ordering parts etc. However, any time there is a fault in one of the operable elevators we have a company to contact and send a technician out almost immediately to address.   

    Pests- We have an exterminator come to the property every week to treat the common areas and any requests made by residents.

    Poor lighting- I’m not sure where this is referred to however..there was new / brighter lighting installed in the parking garage recently and as far as the common areas all lighting is going to be replaced outside the residents apartments etc. with the active renovations.

    -Renovations- the are still progress, so far the hallways have been painted, pipe lining project was completed. The stairwells are being painted. They will be replacing all the flooring most if not all the common area hallway doors to the trashrooms/stairwells, brick pointing throughout the property.

    Cleaning- we have on site cleaners everyday during the week along with porters (who handle specifically trash disposal etc)

     

    I believe I touched base with all her points.

    the elevator is broken in my apartment building . I am on the 6th floor with people that are in wheel chairs. Currently I have a sprang ankle. I had to slide up and down the stairs. This is a fire hazard.
