Hello, I would like to report numerous serious issues that I experienced with realtor Hugh D Dugan II, whom I just used to sell an domicile I am overseeing as administrator of an estate. Throughout the last 5 and a half months I have experienced a listing agent that was unlike ANY I have ever experienced. On numerous occasions Mr. Dugan refused to respond to messages and calls and would become unresponsive for days-leading to weeks. Eventually he would come back with excuses but the total lack of communication resulted in my not getting access to issues that came up during the buyer’s appraisals along with other issues with my buyer. He led to believe that an counteroffer negotiation fell apart as I couldn’t get ahold of him for 3 days during which an expiration date took place. Things became so delayed that on at least 2 occasions I needed to reach out to the buyer’s agent to work out issues because Mr. Dugan couldn’t be bothered with the minor details he was contracted on. When he was unavailable he never had his office reach out to me or continue to work the issues, just communication silence and me left wondering. Additionally over the course of the contract I asked him 4 separate times to have the lawn cut as I am located in another state and did not want the estate to be fined. He confirmed each time he would get it cut but when it came to the settlement, of course the grass height was an issue and I found out he only had it cut 1x. The final straw was this Monday’s closing where he was nowhere to be found. The Settlement agent couldn’t get ahold of him and I had to track him down to ensure he was actually going to show up and provide the deposit as settlement could not finish without the escrow money. To be LOCKED IN to a contract with a realtor like this is disgusting.
