Today me and the family went to ride the train as a holiday treat. We spent $200+ on tickets for our party of 16. We all board the train and to our dismay there aren't enough seats for 6 people in our party. So we are then told those 6 will get free upgrades to a cart that had vacany. But then there were no other seats available on any other carts. So 6 people in our party had to stand on the train for over an hour. These people including my elderly grandmother, baby cousins and some aunt's. We're told by an attendant that once we exit we can get a refund for the 6 tickets. So we go to the ticket booth and we then told they can't issue any refunds. We must contact customer service. So I do some investigating and read the negative reviews to see people with the same issue being told to call customer service and email the manager, only for then to not respond or issue any refunds. And to top it off any unmarked ticket is supposed to be good to use any time so long as the barcode remains in the ticket. It's printed on the back that they don't expire and you use them as cash. We'll the lady at the booth took all the barcodes off of the 6 tickets, so now we're unlikely to get any type of refund and we can't even use the tickets that were left unmarked by the attendant on the train.
