      I had an eye exam on 12-21-21 at Opthalmic Assoc. Windber, PA office. I returned on 1-3-22 and ordered my new glasses with the new presctiption for the lenses. I received the glasses sometime in Feb. due to a delay with supplier. Was the last day this office was open. I left for FL a short time after. I returned in June of 2022 and went to the Johnstown, PA office of the same business because my glasses gas fallen apart. At that time, I complained that the lenses weren't right. Glasses were adjusted and I was told to try them. I returned on Oct 21 (I believe) because my glasses has fallen apart again. At this time I complained again about my lenses not being correct. Staff pulled my records and informed me that the right lense was ordered with the wrong prescription. Order did not mayth optomitrist's exam report! I agreed to a new exam, which was completed on Oct. 25, 2022. When I inquired about the error correction, the office manager refused and offered a 25% discount on complete new glasses. I left for FL on 11-7-22. In early January 2023, I posted all of the info on social media to warn others. My insurance company had attempted to intervine and received the same refusal to correct the error. On Jan. 5, 2023, I received a phone call from the business inquiring about the negative review. They again refused to correct the error! I have since switched to a different optomotrist and have purchased new glasses with the correct prescription. I still desire to have the 2922 glasses made right! I will not drop this complaint which boils down to medical malpractice to me.
