      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I have been a client of Wessel for years. They have never charged me for emails until I told them I was unhappy with their services. They have not resolved anything I have requested with the *** since 2021, and I have had to deal with their constant errors in names, social security numbers and filing dates, which created additional amendments to taxes and over $800 in charges to do so.

They claim they have a signed engagement letter from me that specifies I will be billed for correspondence with the *** there- I have not seen an engagement letter that specifies billing for emails, nor would I have signed one, as other ***s offer this service for free as part of the cost of doing business.

I am unhappy with their services, as I still have not received refunds from tax years 2021 or 2022, and they have done next to nothing to help me resolve these tax issues.

I asked them to send me the engagement letter that they are claiming I signed, with the charges for emails specified, and they have not provided anything as of yet. The charges they are claiming are false.

      Regards,

There is no transparency regarding fees for emails and correspondence, they could've charged me $50/email or $1,000/email?

I was unaware of fees over and above the tax return fees- which were hundreds of dollars by themselves.

It was only upon telling the company I no longer wanted to use them that they sent me a one-time, invented invoice. I had never in the past received any fees for emails/correspondence and have used the company since 2017.

Please let me know if I can provide further information!
