    my husband and i lived in cedar woods from 2019 to 2021, he lived there since 2011. in 2021 my ex-husband whom i have a PFA against found out i was living there and was harassing us. i became very scared and needed to move. when we told the person who managed the complex and brought him the correct paper work to break our lease, he told me that my PFA was a typo because it said 100 years and tried to convince us that it had expired in 2019 because and to quote him " no one gets a PFA for that long i know cause i work in a court house part time." my PFA is indeed 100 years and there was no typo on it. we were told that as long as we cleaned the apartment we would get the security deposit back, so after moving all of our stuff out we deep cleaned the apartment so they would give it back to us. we didn't hear anything for several months from them until about 4 or 5 months later we got a letter in the mail saying we owed them $111.50 and then they sent this to the credit boroughs lowering our credit scores. after seeing that i reported it to BBB, after the third try the company emailed me saying they were going to fix the credit stuff and asked if that was a good solution. i emailed back and said yes that would be great, that was sent in March of 2022. they never attempted to actually resolve it which lowered my credit score which has impacted me in alot of ways.
