    Bait and Switch fake college. I enrolled in the American College of ********* Services ChFC program in the spring of 2014. I passed all of the classes and was awarded the ChFC designation. In or around 2021, during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, The college, though entrapment, stated that we would be required to start paying an annual "recertification" fee of $125 per year. Since then the college has increased the fee to $190 per year. Furthermore, they require you to purchase CE credit from their organization or other organization- resulting in an ever increasing cost. Even though they are a non-profit organization, and use the term "College" in their name, representatives of the organization tell us that they are not actually a "college". I informed them that my real college that I got my BS degree from, did not threaten to take away my diploma if I didn't pay up. In regards to the American College, it just shows you the power play and money grab they are choosing to partake in. This organization has missed the **** since their high of the late 1980's. Be careful if you are pursuing a designation/ degree from The American College of ********* Services- the lack of ethics is something to be very concerned about.
