    I have a written agreement with a General Contractor suppose to finish my second floor addition and kitchen expansion within 8 months. Construction started on May of 2022. Its already May of 2024 its still not yet completed. Have called and text him but does not reply. His last work was done 2 months ago and never heard from him anymore. Call, text and mail a letter to him without getting any response. Hope your office can help me *** the cost for the unfinish work. BTW I'm up to date with my payment.

    Hello,
    Im ****** from S&M United. Im all in for finishing the job, it's ***** percent finished. The next step is to do a kitchen addition but the customer has not provided the kitchen cabinets and I cant keep sending over employees to do small tasks if we cant even complete the job. I told him prior to starting the job to order anything he needed. Like the kitchen cabinets, and also told him about two months ago that I didnt want to demo the kitchen if there were no cabinets being provided. The cabinets he wants are going to be a special order which means it'll take them 8 to 10 weeks to ship. Again I had told him ahead of time to order them so that the job could be finished as soon as possible. Its a waste of labor and time on my end if I send employees over if they cant finish the job, especially if Im not getting paid for it. As of recently when I ask for money he only ever gives money to cover some of the labor for the employees I send over. At the beginning everything was running smoothly and the payments were up to date. Weve also been doing side jobs at his property that he has paid for separately, which means there is more time that has to be invested into the job, which is also why it's taking longer for it to be complete. Regardless of everything I still want to finish the job, because I don't like leaving things unfinished. There are only small things I can go do, but I just need to make sure I receive money when I do those tasks. The job being finished will be determined when he gets his cabinets.
