************ reported to credit agencies so many, yet refuse to send a statement . Spoke with ************ times wrong information . Spoke with a credit union associate who informed me that I had told the 31st to make a payment so it would not reflect badly and the payments that have been made on the account were made in advance so there was more than enough to include that and they are still reporting negative information to the credit reporting agencies. Also not only that but the account has been closed for over 2 years and they will in no way offer is settlement

    Business Response

    Date: 04/28/2025

I am writing in response to the complaint filed on April 10, 2025 regarding #********CE77E.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We value member feedback as an essential tool to improve our services/products and address any shorytcomings.

For the record, the complaint was initially emailed to Armstrong County Federal Employees ******************** and should have been sent to Armstrong Associates Federal Credit Union.

After reviewing the details of the complaint, we want to clarify the sequence of events we have on file as follows:

    1. Ms. ******* **** card/account was blocked on June 12, 2023 for nonpayment. She was over 60 days delinquent. She did bring the account current, but has still incurred late fees for not making the payment on the due date as agreed.

    2. On March 28, 2025, Ms. ***** contacted our office inquiring on the amount due and date of last payment. Date of last payment was on January 27, 2025. Ms. ***** stated she has not been receiving statements. An updated address was received from her. Statements will be mailed to her new address.

    3. Please note that our **** card/account disclosure states that additional payment will NOT advance the due date beyond the next month due.

4, Ms. ******* **** account will continue to be reported to the credit bureau(s) until it has been paid in full.

Should you have any further questions, concerns, or require clarification, please contact me at ************.

    Sincerely,

    **** K. ********

    VP/Chief Lending Officer
