    I bought snapping turtle leather from this company it grew black mold on it or something it started peeling off in sections I asked the owner about it he says it's my fault that I caused it but I it never left my dry bedroom he then he said it's normal that it happens and sends me a bunch of pictures with bad spots on it I'm not a leather expert but I know my leather shouldn't be deteriorating and peeling apart it's something they did wrong and they won't admit it or refund my money

        Hello, Thank you for your concern. We are the worlds only producer of leather from the common Snapping turtle. All of our product is wild caught and skinned for its meat. The finished leather always has flaws. Boot makers in Texas have now made well over 1000 pairs of Snapping turtle boots. We never get returns from these professionals, they have ways of finishing the leather to hide said flaws. ****************** had our product in possession  for several months. He then cut the leather for use as shoe vamps and the sewed the pattern into a vamp, and then decided to complain. The leather he purchased was Dark emerald green. I told him he could clean up the flaws in his finishing prosses. ****************** stated that he did not know how to do that..... I am not a boot maker, just a leather maker. I will not refund money to a customer who reins product. I am not responsible for his lack of knowledge. If he had returned the leather uncut , I would have gladly exchanged or refunded his payment.
