      A vacation from hell. My family and I stayed at this resort 4/13-4/16. We stayed at the town center. Requested and paid for a two bedroom suite. Was given two separate rooms next to each other to open the door in between to combine the rooms. Was charged for two rooms. We were told there were no wash cloths or clean bedding to provide after complaining about being told some would be sent and wasn’t received, ac did not work in our rooms when it was over 80 degrees outside, phones in rooms did not work (had to call front desk on personal cell phone), horrible customer service when needing assistance with concerns and it has been the worst experience! I was promised a refund in which a form was filled out with my issues on paper was attached. I have yet to hear from the lady Jamie who I was told handles refunds. I have left numerous messages, emails, complaints and have been unsuccessful. This place deserves zero stars and needs to be shut down!

      I have made several attempts to communicate with Split Rock directly regarding my concerns about being a timeshare owner. I never experienced a business that has no phone number or contact person for issues and concerns. I only been able to contact someone via email only. We signed two contracts with this company based on lies. We weren't happy with the outcome of our first contract so we reached out and the answer given was to sign another contract to level up my timeshare color. We were told the color of our contract did not work for the types of vacation destinations we wanted to visit. We decided to sign another contract as we felt we had no choice. After we signed the new contract and paid even more money to this company, nothing changed. It was all another lie. We want nothing else to do with this company and this timeshare at this point. We need someone to review our concerns and send us the documents needed to be released from this timeshare. This has been the worst experience I have encountered. Split Rock do not deserve the star I am rating them.

      Split Rock resort iso e of the worst businesses I have every dealt with. No one know next step and the GM has not contacted me as of yet. Read resort reviews and stay away. They promised me my money back. This is going on since 11/23/22. If you finally speak to someone. It is useless
      Stay away. They went totally downhill. Read reviews. Obviously they do not care

      If I could give this place a 0 I would. Their customer service is absolutely awful. We booked a day at the indoor water park on November 12th with military discount. When we got there, they would not honor the discount and we paid more than we should have. I have been dealing with their "manager" for weeks now trying to get refunded after I called and complained. It's been 4 weeks and I have gotten nothing in return.

      My husband and I arranged a 4 day romantic getaway at Split Rock Resort at Lake Harmony, PA.
      We stayed at Willowbrook Bldg. #6 Room #6115C. When we walked into the room we immediately felt the room was unclean. It was very dated back to late 70's or early 90's. Not at all what was expected. The sofa was old and had no cushion left to it. All the furniture was dated.
      Later that evening I was laying in bed and when I got up to turn off the TV, I found bed bugs in the bed!!!!! I was immediately horrified. I called out to my husband who had fallen asleep on the sofa because he works the grave yard shift and told him there were bugs in the bed. I took off my clothes and placed them in a garbage bag and tied them up. Took a shower and removed all our belongings out of the bedroom and into the entry way of the room, ready for daylight to leave this horrible place. Checked in at 5:30 pm and checked out 7:30 am. Not even in the room but 14 hours total which was 14 hours to many. The most disturbing thing is, the hotel clerk who checked us out that morning didnt even blink twice when we told her the reason we were leaving was the dirty room and the bed bugs!!! They need to be shut down and immediately exterminated and remodeled. The next morning we woke up to bug bites all over our bodies!!!! This has traumitized both of us as we have never dealt with anything like this before and never want to again! No stars actually
