I took my car in to have Mckonlys Garage to look at my car. I told them that my transmission, headlights and taillights were broken. They said that they would diagnose my car. My assumption was that Mckonlys Garage was going to diagnose my transmission. I found out later that Mckonlys Garage diagnosed my entire car. They gave me an invoice stating what the recommended to fix. Which added up to around $6,000.00 I did not request this diagnosis of my car. They also test drove my car without my permission. I did not approve any test drive because when I took my car to Mckonlys Garage my car barely made to to the garage. Mckonlys Garage could have ruined my car by test driving it before any parts were repaired to my car. Apparently the word for diagnose has a price tag of $234.00 attached to it. They wasted time and money looking at other parts of my car that I didnt tell Mckonlys Garage that wasnt broken when they could have focused on my transmission and headlights. They also did an oil change to my car without my authorization by taking out my premium synthetic oil and putting in generic oil in my engine. Mckonlys Garage did pay for the mistake but not I do not have my premium synthetic oil in my car. Furthermore, Mckonlys Garage stated that my battery had drained and my car wasnt starting. I drove my car there and my battery was working perfectly. In order to fix the problem Mckonlys Garage said that they would have to charge me a separate fee to check why the battery wasnt charging. My question and observation was, why didnt Mckonlys check to see if my alternator or any else that was draining the battery when they were diagnosing my entire car. They are very disorganized for a garage repair service and they do things to your car that you the customer dont authorize. There communication with consumers is terrible and they have no respect for the customers requests and their car. As soon as you make an appointment with them, they take your money.

********, as we have discussed, your car was scheduled for diagnosis for a humming noise when accelerating/let off pedal and hears a click click noise and when turning gets resistance. When you scheduled the car for diagnosis you were told our diagnosis starts at $233 and we would let you know what we found. We do a courtesy check (no charge) on every car that comes in to check fluids, tire pressure and maintenance. We do this to give you a complete picture of your car. It was explained to you what we recommended for your symptoms. The oil service was a mistake on our part and we used the oil that is recommended by the manufacturer and did not charge anything for that service. I'm sorry that you were not satisfied with our service but we did communicate to you everything that we did. I offered to put full synthetic oil in your car but you declined.
