    Do not buy from the website! Only buy local if you choose to purchase anything. I ended up needing to return a car seat to them and quickly discovered that they do not have free shipping. You have to pay for returns and it was going to cost me $150 to return a $260 car seat. I was shocked and seriously disappointed in the company. I tried contacting them, but they were not helpful at all. They dont have any options to return locally either. So you are essentially stuck with what you purchase unless you want to be at a major loss.

    This Company is Wasteful and harmful to the planet, they value profits, NOT the environment! they support unnecessary land dump filling!

    If I could leave ZERO stars I would. I purchased many items from this brand at one time. After my babies were done with them I decided to sell these used items at a very reasonable price locally online for local-pick up meetups, convenient for the next Mom to be, unfortunately I cannot name the platform. Anyways, within a few days I get all my "Chicco" Items removed, accompanied by a message stating that "Chicco" will sue me and the platform if all the items were not removed, thus they were all removed. After speaking with support they told me low key that the "Chicco" company is on a giant campaign to shut down ANYONE selling there used "Chicco" items, they would rather have you throw them away, or left to rot instead of re-using/recycling their items.

    Those where the last items I ever purchased from this company, also the last items I ever will purchase from this company. I also recommend to all my local and online community to stay away from this brand. I will NOT support filling land fills with "Chicco" items just so they can make more profit after eliminating any secondhand sale attempts by consumers. I ended up donating the items to a tiny local thrift store.

    I originally posted this on amazon to deter future customers and did not think of posting on BBB, but saw others posting the same issue here. I have pictures, an e-mail thread, and receipts as well. I bought the chicco keyfit in November of 2019 and saw this issue on September 18,2022. I removed the cover to clean the seat and noticed that the foam attached to the back had come unglued. The top left corner was also cracked. I wrote to Chicco and called as well, but they said that my seat was out of warranty and they could only give me a discount. We already bought another seat from a different manufacturer, so we did not need the discount, but I was very concerned with this issue because we could have been in an accident with the faulty foam and my daughter could have been injured. We expected to be able to use this for more than 2 or 3 years, so this was disappointing for sure.
