    Started online classes in August 2022 . My success coach never would reply to my emails or if they did, it took over a month to reply. I signed FERPA form, so they could speak to her, success coach to this day has not responded to her email. I have documented proof where a professor stated "I am not a typical LBC student". This school messed up my schedule so bad, I had to reduce my work hours from full time to part time to accommodate their error. This balance was due to this college scheduling my two online classes both on a Monday Night both classes starting at the same time. They are only worried about collecting Federal Student Aid versus my education that I am paying for. Last, the college told me that the ************************** (PADE) requires 20 hours of observation in an ESL setting; where in fact, PADE only requires 3 credits of ESL and LBC is requiring the 20 hours of observation. Academic **** was not able to make an accommodation without speaking to the professor of the class (class only offered once a year).

    ****** was the first to reach this stage in a new program that was built quickly under the *** initiative. She had two courses with Zoom sessions scheduled at the same time, but live attendance was optional, and recordings were availableso there was flexibility.

    The required observation hours do come from PDE (PA Department of Education), but the ESL-specific requirement was LBCs choice. That has now been changed so hours can be done in any classroom.

    The program team was working on a solution, but ****** wanted immediate changes that werent possible at the time. Her case helped lead to improvements in the program.

    ****** received a 100% refund for the course she withdrew from at the time of withdrawal. The disputed balance was discounted tuition for the course ****** successfully completed. Even though ****** took the course for which she was charged, the college has now extended a refund of tuition for her remaining balance.

    Please note that Lancaster Bible College cares holistically for each student - it was disappointing to hear that ****** felt as though the college was only concerned about the financial aspect of her education.
