  We had a very disappointing experience working with Windy Hill Concrete as we felt the quality of the work and the customer service was poor.
  We hired them to repair a portion of our sidewalk that had been raised up by tree roots. In our opinion, the quality of the work was poor. The finished surface of the sidewalk is very rough, and is more akin to a broom finish then a smooth trowel finish. As the concrete was setting overnight some squirrels ran through creating tracks. We asked them to touch this up, expecting they could smooth these tracks over & make the touch-ups blend in with the sidewalk. Unfortunately it is now blatantly obvious where they tried to patch this up, and in my opinion created blemishes. Finally, they tore up our lawn in the process (which was expected), however didn't clean it up until we asked them to come back and do so.
  We were also very frustrated by what we felt was poor customer service. We were given a ballpark date & time of when they may be able to do the work. But no one every followed up to confirm. The crew that did the work simply showed up and began doing the work. No one came to the house to introduce themselves, see if we had questions, or confirm the scope of work; they just started working. When they finished the first day no came to check-in, they simply left. We emailed the owner with a list of concerns & issues we asked them to address. To his credit he responded & said he would send a crew out, however when the crew came back again no one came to our house to check-in with us, they showed up, addressed some of the issues but not all of them, and then left. We again reached out to the owner. He said he would come out personally. Unfortunately he never did.
  We went with Windy Hill because they were the lowest bid we got. If we had known then how poor the quality is and how poor the customer service is, we would not have chosen them.
