    My husband and I booked a one night stay at the Lancaster Lincoln Inn on October 12, 2024 at 7:20 PM. When we got there, we went inside, and the man behind the counter welcomed us and showed us where our room was located. The check-in was contactless and they gave us the code for the front door, as well as, our room number (110). We walked down the hallway and to our room. We noticed that there were teenagers sitting in the hallway listening to music, goofing off, and all of their things were outside of a room. It was very strange. They were sitting a few doors down from our room, which made me start to feel very uncomfortable. We put the code into our room door to get in. When we walked in, it was very dusty, smelled old, and looked very outdated. My husband and I started walking around the room and noticed that there was a *****, as well as, ***** traps in the room. There was also hair in the sink and bathtub. It was very unsanitary in this room and my husband and I could not stay here with bugs. We walked out and I spoke with the man at the counter and asked for my money back. He said that it is non-refundable and I explained how there were cockroaches, hair, and dirt everywhere. He said there was nothing he could do and to email the people who I received a confirmation email from. I did this as soon as exiting the hotel at 8:24 PM on October 12, 2024. I have given them more than a week to contact me back and they still have not responded. Having a non-refundable policy when there are roaches, ***** traps, hair, dirt, and dust in the room is unacceptable and is a health hazard. They should be inspected by the health department and I want my money back for this unsanitary room that I was charged $132.09 for when I did not even get to stay. We had to drive 2 hours home after we left since we did not get a refund and could not make other arrangements for the night.
