    Took my vehicle to get an oil change and have been going to this business since I purchased the vehicle there has never been any oil leaks ever no drips no burning oil ever reported from there over the last 4 years Ive been taking the vehicle there I get the oil change and they say no leaks again they change the oil and again say no leaks I leave and lose 3.5 quarts in a very short Amount of time so I go back thinking maybe they forgot the oil pan bolt or striped it it does happen and they check again and say no leaks again when clearly it lost 3.5 quarts so there is definitely a leak I. I leave and go to mechanic and they found that they cracked my oil filter housing and it is $1000 to fix and they are refusing to fix what they broke which is the one and only thing they touched top side of vehicle is now broke and leaking a lot of oil I have since had to pay to get a rental car I have been coming to this business since for almost 20 years and they make a mistake and treat their long time customers this way and I understand mistakes do happen but own up to them and make them right I would like them to pay for the fix of the oil filter housing and reimburse me for the cost of the rental car

    The oil change for ***** was performed on 1-18-25. ***** reached out to Valvoline Instant Oil Change on 2-8-25 stating the vehicle was leaking oil. ***** brought the vehicle in, and the facility double checked everything on the vehicle and realized nothing was leaking. ***** again came back to the facility to say he has been adding oil to the vehicle and that his oil filter housing needed to be replaced. Attached is the receipt of how much Valvoline Instant Oil Change paid to fix ***** ***** vehicle. Im unsure why ***** ***** is requesting any type of compensation, if the vehicle was fixed as you can see attached. On 2/20/25 we paid an amount of $1,208.00 to have Blairs vehicle fixed, even though we werent one hundred percent sure that we caused this issue.

    I went in for an oil change and the employee dented my hood and weakened the structure of the hood prop. The incident was caught on camera and the manager said, "we owe you a new hood." I was told to get quotes for the replacement. We got two quotes and both collision shops said it needed replaced due to the integrity of the hood. I was then called from cooperate Valvoline with a repair man they said would be "fixing" it and not replacing it. Not only is the mechanic not conveniently located but he isn't a licensed ****** dealer. I will also need a rental car, which costs an average of $71/day and I was told they will only reimburse me $50 a day for a rental. I was also told that if I don't use the mechanic they want, they wont be paying for anything. I came in for a simple service and left with a big repair. This is completely unacceptable. We did nothing wrong. We have the right to use a reputable collision center to replace our damaged property and be provided with complete coverage for a rental vehicle.

    Good morning,  We are not denying the complaint.  We do take responsibility for the dent in the hood.  The quote that ****** provided they added unnecessary items that needed done.  They listed that they need to take off the front bumper on this repair which has nothing to do with the hood dent. I have attached the estimate we obtained and willing to pay this amount plus a rental for ***** a day while the vehicle is being repaired.      Complaint: 22825840

    I am rejecting this response because: this isnt an acceptable solution. The hood needs replaced, not repaired. The structural integrity has been ruined. They never took my van into a shop to be looked at. I however took it two places (as requested by them). Also, $50 a day doesnt cover the cost of a rental. A van rental is over $72 a day. They need to replace the hood since it is the only option.
