As per the attached invoice, intake hoses were not purchased nor paid for while in the store, but a note was added to the same invoice that they could be purchased at the time of delivery if it was determined that they were needed or desired for purchase by the customer from the delivery techs. Once customer notified company 4 days following delivery of an issue, the concerns of the customer were addressed and responded to, during which customer indicated having possession of a video depicting an improper installation resulting in the discharge hose not properly dispensing into the drain pipe, to which the customer sent multiple videos, none of which included the actual installation. We responded to the email requesting the specific footage to substantiate their claim and which was not provided. Such full footage could also support the tech's report of pre-existing wet flooring prior to their removal of the customer's old washer.

I am rejecting this response because: the business has failed to provide me with any photo I have provided them with multiple photos and videos before and after also if my floor was already wet why didnt they take pictures or videos before installation. In the pictures I provided you can see the drain hose on the floor and I feel they need to take accountability for what happened to my home

Due to error, incompetence, or plain laziness their delivery team refused to install a new dryer I had purchased after I had already paid for an installation fee. They story changed repeatedly but they eventually settled on claiming my gas shut off valve was not a gas shut off valve. I requested my installation fee be refunded and contacted an independent plumber to install a new valve directly behind the dryer (as is required by modern codes) and check on the safety and functionality of the existing valve. The independent plumber confirmed the existing valve was safe and functional (and demonstrated its functionality to me) and after he installed a second, more modern, valve with a yellow handle he also installed our new dryer for us. This left us with the old dryer still in our basement. Frustrated, but ready to just move on I called K&A to have them come back and remove the old appliance. They said they would call me back. They never did. Two weeks later I called again. They now claim that they must charge me an additional fee to come remove the old appliance, despite the fact that this service was meant to be included with the price I already paid.

Free removal of the old appliance is offered only if that can be achieved at the time of delivery. A proper shut-off valve for the gas line leading to the existing gas dryer could not be located & so could not be removed and the new dryer could not be connected by delivery staff. Customer insisted that there was a shut-off valve that he then identified with blue tape, but the other techs who returned saw that what the customer identified as a shut-off was instead a "T" junction with a threaded end-cap (pictures attached), and did not locate an appropriate shut-off valve. Turning the end cap on a live gas line could have devastating consequences & so did not alter the cap in any way & our company refunded customer's installation fee and could not assist the customer any further. The ********************** purchased was delivered to their laundry space ready for the customer to make arrangements to bring his gas line to the point of connection to code, that vender or UGI tech should be able to make appropriate connections to the appliance at that time.Calls returned to the customer were hung up on by the customer when stating policy, customer was hung up on by staff when becoming verbally abusive with more than one staff member on multiple occasions, then tried repeatedly to continue the abuse. Customer received what they paid for & was refunded for the install/connection that could not be achieved at the time of delivery, nothing further is going to be provided regarding this transaction.
