The company "Apex Debt Recovery Services" has not been cooperative in providing me with a phone number or has made any contact with me via phone. They say they are "not allowed" to make contact via phone call. They did not provide any direct information of debtor name. They have also said that they will pursue legal action. They only provided a link to a payment set up website (I have not opened). I requested they call me as I am "confused as to how to make payments." I feel this is a false company making harassing and threatening claims with no actual reference to any actual existing debt.Initial Complaint

On 9/20/23 I received an email from Apex recovery stating I owed a debt of $1024.00 and I had two Options to pay $38 every two weeks or pay $312 and they would consider it paid in full . I emailed back and asked who they were looking for and if there was any proof of this debt they stated it was a cash advance , I informed that I needed to see proof of this debt and signed signatures of me agreeing to pay , both times I was contacted was outside of normal business hours which made me look them up on the BBB to see if there was any complaints . They stated they would sue me and I would have to face authorities and pay $4000 in court. I informed them not contact me because they were misspelling words and they was not a direct contact number . I was asked to make a payment through PayPal which I refusedInitial Complaint

I keep receiving emails from Apex Recovery Services regarding a debt in the amount of $1024.00 that I owe from 2018 to **** *******. I have no idea who this company is. Apex is offering a debt reduction of $512.00 and if I make a one time payment today the debt will be considered paid in full. They also state if I do not reply to their emails this debt is considered valid. There is no contact number to call only an email link for settlement which I will not click on. I believe these emails are scams.Initial Complaint
