    I pre-ordered some merchandise from MVP on July 27, 2023. MVP sent me the merchandise twice, in two separate packages, both addressed to me. I was not home when the post office delivered the packages. Pursuant to both Florida Statute 501.0113 and 39 USC 3009, such merchandise is deemed to be a gift and the sender cannot demand the merchandise back or charge the recipient. Nevertheless, MVP began a campaign of harassment via e-mail to have me return the merchandise. Over the course of this, MVP (1) cancelled my account with them; (2) cancelled other orders I had with them; (3) told me that if I wanted to discuss the matter with their attorney, they would "set up an escrow account" and have their attorney bill me for his time; and (4) that they would report me to collections for the value of the unordered merchandise if I did not return it. I returned it only because I didn't want to have to initiate a two-year long lawsuit under the Fair Credit Reporting Act to fix the credit reporting issues that would result from their conduct. I have all the e-mail correspondence showing these violations, as well as proof of a cease and desist letter I sent them that they ignored. As a result of their conduct, I was damaged by (1) having to return the merchandise that was gifted to me pursuant to state and federal statute; (2) I was constantly harassed by their customer service rep via e-mail; and (3) I had to pay to ship the product back.
