    Fence Installed Sept Compliance Department, 2023. After the installer left on 9/19 - later in the day, I noticed many panels had dark markings - posts were scratched. I called the office on Thursday to advise the firm. The owner, *********************, inspected the damages with me on Oct 5th and took notes. I had to call the office two weeks later for status. I was told that ***********************, the owner, had to coordinate a visit to my property with the manufacturer. To date, **** has not called to schedule the visit, nor has he offered to have the panels replaced. The second issue: The property had been surveyed with pins installed to mark the property lines. Their installer ignored the pins on the street side (***************** *****) and installed the fence beyond them. Thus, the fence failed the zoning inspection. I sent emails and called. I talked once with their office and was told it was my fault because I showed their installer the area for the fence to be installed. I have since sent another email asking for a response to what action A&S Fencing plans to take to correct. No response.

    The owner did come to inspect the damaged panels with a representative from the manufacturer on December 5th. ***********************, owner stated he could remove the markings with mud and water. To date the owner has not visited the property to clean the panels and post to try to remove the stains. Nor has he contacted me to schedule. Still non-responsive.

    01/11/2024 Update:

    A&S Fencing, owner *********************** has taken care of the markings on the fence panels. The issue with the installation of the fence within the right of way is not the fault of A&S Fencing or their installer. A&S Fencing and I have agreed that the failed zoning inspection is not their fault.  Rather, the issue is with the Bensalem Township Zoning and Permit departments who failed to advise me, the homeowner at the time permit was approved of their required distance (stated in inches) from the survey pins.  Please mark this complaint as satisfactorily resolved with A&S Fencing.

    The issue has been resolved satisfactorily. The owner cleaned all marks off the fence. Final payment was made on 1/08/2024 to A&S Fencing. 

    The problem with right-of -way for fence is a township issue. Bensalem township Zoning department informed me in January that the fence needed to be 30 inches from the pins. I had no idea of that requirement and had not asked A&S Fencing to install the fence accordingly. 

    I am very pleased with *********************** for providing the necessary time to clean the fence.  Please close this complaint as being settled satisfactorily for the customer. Thank you.
