We kept money in our daughters account at Willow Tree Gymnastics that is refundable if it’s not used. We unenrolled our daughter from their gym 10/21/22 and asked for our money(in an email) to be ready for us to pick up . On 10/26/22 I went to pick up the money which the owner said, “I’m not going to “************ with your money.” Now I had heard that she is a thief so I recorded the conversation for my own records. We also paid in full for a leotard that cost $250 and they are not giving us that either. The total the owner agreed to owing us back is $1090.00 plus the leotard or compensation for what we paid for the leotard if they are going to hold it hostage. The owner (Ruth C*****) also cashed one of our tuition checks on 11/2/22 when our daughter had been un-enrolled since 10/21/22.She also told me to *** ** ****** Which is very unprofessional when people remove their kids from gyms every day. We can’t get anywhere with her as she lets our calls go to voicemail and we are trying this route before having to take her to court. We also have videos that show the children roaming the neighborhood at Ruth’s permission when we thought our kids were safe at her gym. This is one of the reason we switched our daughter to a new gym. We just want to cut strings and move on- with the refund she promised.
