      On 10/21/2019, I contracted with Herrins Paving to pave my grass driveway. I also had him provide me with an asphalt sidewalk from driveway to front deck. I paid him $5,700.00 by check. Based on my driveway work, he also did work for my three uncles. All three of them had crushed stone driveways for years before their paving. I had none prior to my paving. Within 6 months, I had indentations from where I parked my vehicles. Grass was starting to come up through the asphalt. A section of the asphalt sank. I started calling Mr. *********************** but could not get an answer. At 9 months of calling, I finally got him on the phone. When I told him of my issues, he gave me excuses of his wife being sick, and him being barely alive due to COVID. I had a 1 year warranty which he did not honor.

      Supposed to install 2 1/2 to 3" asphalt. Numerous areas have my original sandstone sticking up through the asphalt. Numerous areas very rough. Several seams rough and not rolled down properly. Large dip at corner of home that they said they would come back and repair along with sealing to take away roughness but just get a RUNAROUND. It has been 7 weeks with nothing but bullXXXX and excuses and put off. I advise you don't get them and their good guy/bad guy operation.

      Get your estimate in writing. They dont like paperwork for some reason and the estimate will increase each time you speak with one of the owners. The 2 owners also do not see eye to eye on a project. I had two vastly different estimates with different repair approaches. Seal the driveway or replace. ***** is vague with his estimate and greatly increases the cost when completed. No warning that they are way over the agreed cost. By thousands!
