    Contractor told us he installs Mini split heat pump and AC units. We signed the contract on 8/2/2023. He said installation would take a day and a half. He showed up to work at all times of the day. Showed up twice at night with his 3 1/2 year old daughter in tow. We paid him over $6,000 and we can't use either of the units he installed. They are leaking...one of them leaving puddles inside our house! He showed up once to fix them and now the kitchen unit leaks worse than before his repair. We sent him pictures of the problems. On 3 different occasions he promised to return to make repairs and he never did. On the hottest days of the year, we couldn't use the units. We have now had to hire another company to make the repairs and their estimate is at least $800! The unit leaking the worst is not level. The drain line for the other one is installed on an incline, not a decline to facilitate drainage. The hoses used are not the proper ones for the job to be done. The new contractor thinks he just used whatever he had laying in the truck. One of the units needs to be checked because it may be leaking refrigerant. We paid a whole bunch of money for equipment we can't use. He needs to be held accountable.
