October 2022, I reached out to Blue Collar Construction, in regard to my roof leaking, in the area of my bedroom closet. *** and **** came to look at my **** and determined that section of roof would need to be replaced, and they found a few other problem areas. I reached out to my homeowner's insurance, was able to get money to cover the repairs. While discussing the other problems seen, it was recommended my entire roof be replaced. Due to being "family friends" *** offered to finance the remaining amount needed to replace whole roof, using a mixture of colored shingles, that would be later be sealed with a rubber coating. Roof was replaced in October, and I paid off the financing in 2023. November 2023, my roof began leaking again in the exact same spot as before, this time it resulted in damage to my closet ceiling and bedroom ceiling. Blue Collar construction came out to "fix" the issue. April 2024, it started leaking in same area again, I reached out to Blue Collar Construction, they came out to fix, stated it needed to be resealed. When I returned home from work, the rubber tar and ladders where still in my yard, with no confirmation as to whether or not it was fixed. I called on multiple occasions and no one returned my calls. The items are still in my yard currently. April 2025, my roof has still began leaking again, now causing damage to another section of my bedroom ceiling. I left a voicemail in regard to the leak and sent a text message to the business manager, which has been ignored. I have tried on multiple occasions to have my roof fixed correctly, and it has not been done. I would like my roof to be fixed, but since that doesn't seem to be the case I would like monetary funds to fix my roof, and the damage the continuous leaking has caused.

My complaint is with Blue collar construction. They were hired prior to our scheduled closing date on our primary residence. The appraisal company would not approve our loan with out a new roof being put on our (screened in) back porch. They replaced the roofs sheathing, as well as laying down a protective sealant. However from the very beginning there were big issues with the work that they performed. The sealant ran off the roof in the first major rain that we had after moving into the residence. Water not only penetrated the porch roof but it also made its way into our home. On October 31st,2022 our first check was cut for Blue collar construction totaling $3,715.00. On November 7th, 2022 another check was cut for $3,715.10. (Totaling $7,430.10) After our first complaint with blue collar, after some time they sent out someone to patch or provide temporary aid for the roof, and we were advised that after the winter weather breaks they would send someone out to replace the damage to the roof and make things right. However we are now entering the colder months of the year and no one has showed up to fix the roof. We received a text message from blue collar during the summer advising us that the guy that would fix the roof was sick however he would be out to replace the roof as soon as he was able.. However here we are entering the winter and know one has yet to show up to complete the job. The whole roof needs to be replaced. There is visible damage on the sheathing everywhere on our porch. There are leaks throughout the entire roof. Black mold can be seen everywhere. And when the sealant that they used which we were told had a guarantee on it began to run off there was damage done to the porch. At this point its become obvious that they have no intent on fixing the problems. We would now like a refund so that we might obtain a better contractor, and be able to move forward.
