I spent nearly $5,000 with Next Gen Drivetrain and have been extremely disappointed with the customer service and post-sale support. After a torque converter issue, they denied the warranty, claiming my mechanic installed it incorrectly but they never provided any documentation or real explanation, despite promising to do so multiple times.I followed up repeatedly by phone and email, and no one would call me back including the general manager ***** whom I specifically asked to speak with. I left voicemails on May 27, June 3, 6, and 9, and even after finally speaking with someone on June 12, I only received an email saying my old torque converter (which I paid to have returned on May 22) was being shipped. It finally showed up June 14, nearly a month later, and still no one from leadership ever reached out to explain the situation or take responsibility.Ive bought parts from many major suppliers and they back their products no questions asked. Next *** made the sale and then disappeared, offering excuses instead of solutions. The lack of communication, accountability, and ethics has left me with a very bad experience. I would not recommend them based on how I was treated.

Totally dishonest review by a dishonest customer. What actually happened - and we will happily show photographic proof to anyone who asks - is the consumer purchased a rebuild kit for their transmission. These products are guaranteed to not be defective, but we cannot guarantee the labor of whoever is assembling the transmission because we are not the ones doing so. Mr. ****** knew this at time of purchase, and this is standard at all companies. Him and his friend attempted to rebuild a transmission themselves, and called us multiple times to ask questions that clearly indicate they do not have any business trying to rebuild their own question. For example, "what direction do the clutches go?" - Questions like this indicate that this person has no business trying to rebuild a transmission themselves. Surely, they contacted us a week later to claim that he thinks our "parts are defective" and he can't explain why or how. We, in good faith, ship the torque converter back to us only to find that there was clearly an alignment dowel missing when the transmission was re-installed (please message us for proof, we would love to prove that Mr. ****** is lying in this review) and told him we do not warranty destroying your own product by mis-installing it and not following the simple instructions provided. We then cover half the cost of shipping to get the converter back to him, in another good faith attempt to help him. After that, he decides that it is Next ***** ***** that him and his friend cannot figure out how to rebuild their own transmission - even with help. The bottom line is simple, this customer is simply making it up. He is a liar, and we would be happy to show photographic proof to absolutely anybody at anytime, just contact us.Thank you.
