    I hired Hulton Contracting for full siding replacement, crossheads, & downspouts. As soon as they did the work, I sent them a list of items that were not correct and told them once they were fixed, Id pay them the remainder of bill. A few months later they resent the *********** responded that I was still waiting for the fixes. They came back to replace a vent that was originally not the correct vent, but they left the siding around that vent unfinished saying they needed to special order items to finish it. They also put plywood closing the vent that's supposed to be a working vent, saying they would open it once they came back. During that same visit we discussed my concern about buckling siding and cedar impressions. They told me I would have to pay them to remove the new siding, install plywood and reinstall the siding, and that the cedar impressions were just shade from the way the sun was hitting it. This is nonsense! The siding and shakes were installed INCORRECTLY. You can hear the siding snap back together when you push on it. If correctly installed, it would not separate and need to be pushed/snapped back together. The shakes should have been spaced for expansion/contraction. The incorrectly installed siding has now started fall off. They told me they would be here Dec 5 to fix the falling-off siding and vent, then canceled that day saying he didnt have the materials. Since they have refused to respond to my calls, texts or emails. The dangling siding has now broken and fallen off. The side of my house is exposed to the elements. Also, I need the warranty information for all materials. I need to know the brand of the crossheadsI think they should have been painted before installation, but I cannot find out what brand they are so I can take action to protect them from the elements. When they installed the new vent, I gave them $15,000 in good faith even though it was NOT due until the job was done. The total cost was $30,650.Ive paid a total of $26,000.
