    Contracted with Moore Family Builders LLC to complete certain parts of our addition/renovation as noted in the contract. *** Moore was paid $38,608.00 which includes 10% ($8,200)deposit upon contract signing, an additional 30% (24,408) at the start of construction and $6,000 for Addendum #2. Of the total amount of $38,608 we paid him, we have calculated that he has used approximately $10,000 or less of these funds for work currently completed to date. This includes plumbing bills from *** Plumbing to Moore Family Builders in the amount of $2,591.25 which we paid directly to *** Plumbing because *** Moore neglected to pay(copies attached). Excavation costs verbal from the excavator were $3,500 billed to Moore Family Builders which has not been paid. Addendum #2 Demolition work is roughly 3/4 completed valued at $4,000 Plumbing Bills: $2,591.25 Verbal excavation Bill: $3,500.00 Estimated vault demo cost: $4,000.00 Total: $10,091.25 Less Plumbing Bills Paid: ($2,591.25) (paid by the homeowner - check copy attached) Total value used of the funds pd: $7,500.00 plus add $2500 in management fees $10k total used of funds paid *** Moore and Moore Family Builders owe us a refund of roughly $30K We were informed by *** Moore that he would be dissolving his business and unable to complete our contracted job. We are now out roughly $30k with our job barely started. We have a partially excavated hole in our yard with all the demolition debris in the middle. He states he will refund the unused portion however it has come to our attention we are not the only customers defrauded and many of his subcontractors were also not paid for work already completed on ours and other jobs. We are concerned with the magnitude of payments owed to his subcontractors & refunds owed to us & other customers we won't get the promised refund
