      ****** from the North location said she would call me back to see what she can do about my refund from planet fitness 10/17/2023 canceled my membership back on September 6, 2022 Started membership in July 2022 Called spoke with East location manager on 10/17/2023 and was advised she couldn’t do anything about this and said someone spoke to me in November of 2022 I never spoke with anyone back in November of 2022 at planet fitness. I called in August of 2022 around the end of the month I went to the north Location in September of 2022 to cancel as advised I don’t remember who I spoke to and never received an email from them confirming the closed account that I was supposed to receive. $338.78 Planet Fitness owes me From September 2022 when the account should have been cancelled until today September 2023 including yr fee of 39.00 to the monthly fee of 23.06 10/17/2023 Called and spoke with ****** left message for ****** 2:09pm was advised ****** was on her lunch and I did say I wasn’t rushing her just wondered if she heard back from her boss yet. I’m confused that my membership was canceled over the phone with ****** a manager at the North location. I was told memberships cannot be canceled over the phone ****** was very helpful Started July 25,2021 $19.19 was my pro rated amount. August 18, 2021 $23.06 was the start of a full month payment September 2, 2021 first annual fee of $39.00 dollars was removed from my account **** area director manager North location Received another call back and was advised that I should have been on top of the company making sure my access was canceled and no refund was issued. I wasn’t given anything from my visit on the 6th of September 2022 I was just told I’d receive an email confirming my cancellation. Money was still be deducted from my account for fees and monthly membership. I was only aware of this once I got notified of an overdraft to my checking account. That’s when I checked and realized it was never done.

      I called Planet Fitness to see if my account was active due to me seeing charges of 31.99 per month on my bank statement for over a year without my knowledge. I only asked because I figured I would go even though I canceled two years ago. They advised that I had a overdue balance of 80 dollars. I asked how when I have just looked at my statement and money has been coming out of my account each month even though I canceled. I advised to speak with someone they gave me a corporate number which was just a toll free complaint hotline. I then looked up the owner of the company which is Argonne National. I called they took down my information and said someone would reach out. I would like a refund from the day I canceled to the day I spoke with someone. I have not had any thing resolved no matter how many steps I take. It is very frustrating.
