      You don't really know what kind of business you're dealing with until you have a problem and get to see how they handle it. Based on that test, CJ Pony Parts is a good business.
      I ordered a *********** ********** Black Vinyl Package Tray With Speaker Holes for a '66 Mustang. It arrived a little banged up (thanks ******), but also had manufacturing defects - visible little lumps of something underneath the vinyl. Contacted CJPP and provided pictures. Their response? No problem, we're sending you another one. And they did; the second one arrived in perfect condition and had no obvious defects.
      That's the best I could ask for, and this review is my way of saying thanks.

      Return policy stinks. I ordered $70 worth of parts and needed to return them. The parts were shipped to me from PA. to Michigan. When I went to return them I was responsible for shipping which I understand is their policy. Problem was I had to ship to Nevada which was gonna be $52. Customer service just blew me off. Unless you can't find it somewhere else I wouldn't buy from these guys. I've already sent several thousand dollars of business elsewhere.

      Ordered brake kit for a 65 mustang.
      I made the purchase on 11//01/22.
      Went to track order as I was expecting the order after receiving 2 confirmed emails with order#, also checked credit card and confirmed transaction was posted and come to find out order was canceled on the 7th. Six days after purchase was made. Without an email , without a call, WITHOUT ANY NOTICE.
      Called CJ and spoke to a RUDE person that stated he was the manager. He did not have any business nor communication skills and mentioned my order was canceled because it was a fraud due to different billing address and different delivery address. He did not in anyway try to better the situation nor attempt to make it right.
      Stay away from bad business like this.!!!
      I find my parts from another company that will make it right.

      I ordered two very expensive parts for my ford focus and gave them very specific delivery instructions to leave them at the back door of my house and i only received one of them . So because they have failed at telling fed ex proper delivery instructions i am out a 900 dollar exhaust for my car . I asked them for a refund for the part that has gone missing and i was denied and ignored! Never order from cj pony parts !

      Honestly CJ Pony Parts only gets the 1 star because when I placed my initial order it got to me fairly fast. However, we decided not to fix the car that the parts were for. They were still packaged in the box the way we received them. I contacted them online about a return and was sent one email stating how to complete the return process and then another email with a ticket number saying if I had anything to add reply to the email. I replied asking them to grant an extension on their 60 day return policy; I have worked in customer service long enough to know exceptions can always be made. I got no response back to the email.
      Yesterday I called them and was on hold for awhile. I requested a call back from them; when I got the callback it was just dead air. Shortly after I got some email saying they were working on my ticket. I called again this afternoon to try and speak with someone. I stayed on hold this time and after several minutes the automated system asked me to rate the representative I spoke with, but I NEVER actually spoke to anyone. So then I called again because the call before hung up after the rating part. FINALLY I get to speak to someone! After I explain I bought the parts for my husband's birthday, they weren't taken out of the box I just would like to have an exception made to return them. She said that I was told no exception could be made and I told her I never even spoke with anyone. She then preceded to tell me I was sent an email informing me they couldn't make an exception. Which, I did get one after I spoke with this representative. I was like so now you guys are just going to leave me sit here with over $500 in parts I have no use for and she told me to sell them online! I asked to speak to a manager and was told they will call me back. So far I haven't received a call back and I'm not holding my breath. I have however received numerous emails stating my problem has been resolved, which it has not! BUYER BEWARE IF YOU PU

      This is a terrible company I placed an order august 14 2022 for the euro style headlights for the 2011-2014 Ford Mustang I paid for express 2 days shipping and it took 4 days to be “delivered” just shows how serious they take their orders and customers. My package was “delivered” august 18 @12:28pm my packages usually never get stolen from the front of my property other packages can stay all day in front and they’ll never get stolen so it was odd that the package from them wasn’t there. I gave FedEx another day to deliver it maybe something happened but it’s been a couple days and they still haven’t delivered anything. I contacted cjpony support and they said there’s nothing they can do cause my package was marked delivered at my house. You really think I would put a claim if I received the package? No it’s not everyday someone will gladly spend almost $500 for some tail lights. Honestly I’m truly disappointed with this company don’t waste your money and time on this website all they care about is your money. Customer service is the worst too. Customer service really said “your more then welcomed to place another order” you really think im going waste my money with them again no just goes more to show they only care about the money truly sad shame on this company It’s not you have extra money laying around to spend again on the same product you never received specially if they don’t want to give you a refund or try to solve the problem

      If you love horrible customer service, you are in luck!!! Personally though, I will never shop here again.
      Little back story: Ordered a full set of brakes for my car with another company, 2 months later, parts were still on back order. Canceled, tried TireRack, got an email 2 hours later saying the pads were available but the rotors were 6-9 weeks out. I couldn't wait anymore because my brakes are really bad, cancelled the rotors and received the pads 3 days later...Beautiful transaction.
      Now with the pads, tried CJ for the rotors...Big mistake. See, Ive used them before and liked dealing with them but that changed and now I tell you, Ill never use them again, do not spend your money with them.
      I order the rotors as a set(4 total). I received the confirmation email and nothing after that. I called and was told that they had shipped and id be getting them the next day. Super! I only get 2 rotors. I called, Im told that I pretty much should be happy that I got the 2 rotors in 3 days because it usually takes 2 weeks to ship. What?? I ordered a set because I needed a set! When will I get the front set, I asked. Was told id have to wait the 2 weeks before they can tell me anything. I explained about having to wait 2 months with the previous company and if the parts were on back order Id go shop elsewhere. I dont mind waiting but dont want to wait 2 weeks to find out they are indeed on back order. Again was told wait 2 weeks. So at this point I ask, so its guaranteed that ill get them in the next 2 weeks? No, we cannot guarantee you that because and i quote "ordering car parts is not like ordering pizza"....Mind you, at that point im talking to the supervisor/manager, his name? Scott Justice, easy to be a condescending prick over the phone I wonder if you would talk like that to a mans face....go to google for full review

      I placed one order online, and it turned out one item was on backorder (which wasn’t displayed when adding the item to the cart). I call customer service to cancel the item but somehow the representative placed ANOTHER order without my consent. I was billed for two orders. I did not receive ANY shipment or order confirmation emails (although they insisted that they did). The representatives continued to insist that I myself placed the order two times. So now I have a surplus of expensive parts that I don’t need and that I have to pay out of my pocket to ship back to CJ. Whole experience was very shady on their end. Poor website ordering experience, poor communication, and I would rather save the money and hassle and order from other competing suppliers.

      Buying any sheet metal parts from CJ Pony Parts is a mistake. They take no care in packing and shipping fenders and quarter panels. Damage is unavoidable. Then, if you refuse delivery of damaged parts, a return credit to my credit card was taking MONTHS. I finally contacted my credit card and disputed the charges in full. CJ Pony Parts now refuses my order using said credit card. They want me to use Pay Pal or some other form of payment. I spent hours on the phone... hours and hours, after realizing that the shipping company had returned the parts to CJ PONY PARTS... they had the returned parts for weeks and would not process the return. Then, they would not acknowledge the return to my bank and make the credit final. it literally took months and hours of phone calls. If I was a business, trying to fix a customer's car, it would be a losing proposition.
