  If I could rate a zero that would be ideal. Tracy Becker Construction is extremely unprofessional and rude. Tracy Becker Construction installed a sliding door with the handle to the door upside down and also damaged the brand new siding around the door. I called immediatley to inform them and had to follow up many many times - here it is 4 months later, after several cancellations on their end and I had to provide the custom siding for repair. No compensation, no apology - the only thing we recieved was rude customer service and many cancellations. I will continue to write reviews until our job is completed to our satisfaction. NEVER AGAIN with Tracy Becker Construction!

  I am very sorry to hear about your door issues. It is our hope to have happy customers with every install. I have looked into your file and below are my finding: We are scheduled to come out on 1/10/2023 to complete your job. The door you purchased is a universal patio door and the the panels are designed to change the handing by flipping the entire door upside down and move the track pieces to the other side. That is what the installer did. It locked and was secure at the time of install. The store reached out and to the manufacturer to get the handing so the words are not upside down and that will be completed at the scheduled appointment. The siding was not damaged. The J channel is separating. But that’s because the header was bowed and we had to build up your sill and level the header and square the opening to properly install the new door. When doing that the J channel legs were too short and the miter gap was wider in the corners. You had your siding company get 2- 12’ pieces of the custom colored J channel (it's on site) and that too will be completed at the scheduled appointment. Your install was done on 10/3/2022. A work order was opened documenting all of your concerns along with the the notes from the detail about the sag in the header. We had you scheduled for 12/30 but needed to reschedule. New scheduled date was 1/3/2023 the installer arrived and no one was home, you advised you left your door unlocked, but our contract states someone 18 or older must be present so Installer moved on to his next job. We are confident the job will be completed to your satisfaction on 1/10/2023. Once again, please accept my sincere apologies.
