Main Line GI billed for 2 separate visits; the first a Dr. Consultation  and the second an endoscopy. Both were valid visits that were then processed through insurance. For the first visit I received a bill that was paid the day I received it via their online payment portal. I just received a new bill that did not reflect the payment and threatened to turn over to collections. I contacted the central billing office and provided them with the online receipt for their own billing/payment system. They are still unable to verify. For the second procedure I was told I needed to pay upfront via a credit card what I would have owed for insurance deductible. I did so in the office. The amount I was charged was significantly higher than the deductible. I am now receiving a bill that does not reflect the office payment and in fact suggests there is a balance due. I am due a refund of $134.77

    Morning!

Regional Gastroenterology Associates dba Main Line Gastroenterology Associates has reviewed the dispute and resolved the complaint with the customer.  After reviewing both accounts for the patient, all payments have been applied with no balance or refund due.  The concern about the upfront payment applies to the Endoscopy Center, which is not billed or collected by Regional Gastroenterology Associates dba Main Line Gastroenterology Associates.  We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or delay in the resolution of the patient’s account.
