I am rating the course and service. I took AINS 101. It was terrible in just about every way. I had no idea when I took it that other websites offer their own course material that you can use for the exam, which unfortunately, does have to be taken thru The Institutes. The material was not fully presented or explained well. The videos had a lot of quality issues including words cut off, especially at the beginning, also the sound volume was all over the place. One video was quiet so you turn the volume up. Play the next video and now it is way too loud. I realized late in the game there were vocabulary flash cards. Words were overly repeated while other useful words or phrases on the test were left out. Very little effort was made to make this a good course. It was the bare minimum. How could they not have test run this material before releasing it to the public and not have noticed everything that I did? I also did not know there were quizzes for each section until I had done all sections as the quizzes and the course material are in different links. Since there is no pdf document of the material it is hard to go back searching thru videos to review something you got wrong on the test. There's also no explanations given for the wrong answers, and actually, sometimes they explained the right answers, like the ones you already got right, but they did not help you with the ones you got wrong. I sent e-mails to customer service only to get an auto reply that I could hear back in maybe like 7 days! I wound up taking my test before I could get any assistance. When I called to ask how the proctor works in my state for CE credit, they just did not know, nor did they really know how I should obtain that info. It also did not advise how much credit I would get, turns out was only a measly 3 credits of CE for a course with exam costing me almost $600!! It is a total racket. There is apparently no regulation of this sort of course/designation rubbish.

Been working on my Aic designation and was 1 class away from finishing it. Now they just changed the courses around and saying I have to start all over again. Never mind that spent thousands of dollars and countless hours studying. Now I have to start all over? What a scam they are.
