I bought an Action Heat Jacket from a local store of a nationally known authorized retailer. They did not have the size I wanted in store so I ordered it from their website. When it arrived, I tried it on and it fits fine so I took the tags off. I read through all of the instructions and turned on the jacket and noticed that the battery died in about half the time that was advertised so I looked at the tags again. I then noticed that the size was mislabeled on the tags and the battery that was included was almost half the size of what was advertised on the website and even what was stated in several places on the tags. I reached out to the retailer and they suggested going to Action Heat to see if they could send the correct battery. I reached out via email with photos of the jacket, tags and battery and got a very short response stating that I needed to go back to the retailer for an exchange. I explained that I ordered it online and that the retailer agreed that the same thing would likely happen again since I was ordering the identical product and they suggested asking Action Heat before an exchange. I heard back from Action Heat and the representative that was helping was so incredibly rude and unsympathetic and suggested that I pay $50+ to purchase the correct battery from their website. I explained that the correct battery was not included and she just repeated herself and then essentially closed the case. I explained again that I would like the proper battery so the jacket stays warm for more than an hour. These are jackets that are worn on the field by *** players and I guarantee the battery needs to last longer than an hour. She was just as dismissive and would rather that I just return the jacket vs trying to work out a solution. It was incredibly bizarre. They have all sorts of warranty information about their products on the website, and I pointed her to that, and she said that only applies if you purchase from them directly. Grade = F.
