    A friend recommended their mechanic and gave my key to the mechanics son, who also works with him at the beginning of December 2023. The vehicle remained where it was parked after communicating to the mechanic that it needed to be towed until the end of December at which time I called the mechanic. This was the first time speaking to him to communicate who I was, and ask why my vehicle was still sitting I immediately was met with rudeness and aggression as he claimed he only received the key a week ago from his son. I was unable to communicate all the problems with the vehicle because of his rudeness and ended the phone call. Another month goes by and there is still no word from him and he has made multiple promises to my friend that he was going to pick up the vehicle. I then told my friend that my key needed to be returned. I would not use this person. I dont know anyone who could have their vehicle sit for 2 months when its their only vehicle. The owner, then stopped taking my friends phone calls. I tried to contact him again and he would not respond so I texted him and told him I wanted my key back, and if I did not get communication back from him, I would take legal action to include a police ****** if needed be. He then calls me the next day and again is very short and rude. I dont recognize the phone number he calls from and he doesnt even tell me who he is or say hello he just asked me what kind of car I have. I was in a daze because I was being picked up by the ambulance and didnt understand at the time what was going on but apparently this individual instead of returning my key picked up my vehicle and took it. It is now been eight days and this person still will not accept my phone calls or texts so I can find out what is going on with my car. At this point in time Im considering it theft, I did not give him the permission to pick it up since it already sat for two months.. he knew very well. I wanted the key returned. Because he picked the vehicle up I tried to be courteous once again and sent him a thank you text, hoping he was changing his attitude since he picked up the vehicle. It is now been eight days and there has been no communication from this mechanic. It is nearing the three month **** that my vehicle has been down. I need response immediately from this business or I will file a police report for theft. He needs to decide hes either gonna do the work as fast as possible now or he will return my vehicle at his expense. a single mom has been Ube all this time is financially putting me in a hole because I cannot afford it. My vehicle is paid off.
