    I won two auctions and requested shipping for my items. Based on the information listed in the FAQ's on the website, I was expecting a rate for the shipping that is within reason. I also assumed since the website listed their a $15 charge to package my items, that is what I would be charged. I won a fold up table and a chalk board. I am now being told I need to pay a $75 fee to have my items packaged and shipped to me and $300 in shipping. That is more than I would pay if I bought them elsewhere. I want to either have a reasonable shipping rate and the $15 fee or not have to pay for these items because what they are charging me is not the same as what they are advertising online as what I thought I'd be paying. They can keep them.

    Thank you for your feedback. After looking into this issue and our prior communications, the shipping prices you are referencing were given as an estimate and not the exact quote. We would first need to charge a $15 fee per standard box needed to prepare your items for shipment. Once your items are prepared for box shipping, we are then able to use the weight, dimensions, and delivery location to obtain your exact shipping cost. It is difficult to accurately estimate shipping costs, as the factors are always changing, so our team tries to estimate high when requested to prevent any price scares further into the shipping process. If you still wish to receive your items, your invoice is also available to be picked up for a small storage fee. In addition, if you feel you are able to secure better priced shipping options, it is not within our process to allow bidders to set up their own box shipment, however we are able to make an exception on this invoice if you choose to do so.     I am rejecting this response because: I was pressured into making a decision on my shipping based on the information provided to me, so I had to forfeit my bids.  This situation has been frustrating and no where throughout the process has there been any transparency about the fees I was expected to pay.  This violates the FTC's Rules on Unfair and Deceptive Fees.  Because of that violation, I think its only fair I am given a refund.

Our team provided shipping estimates to the best of our ability, as previously explained we are unable to provide exact shipping quotes without the items being fully prepared for shipment. Please see below for the summary section of our agreed Terms and Conditions, which states "Bidders are responsible  for their own removal and/or shipping/storage arrangements." Our full Terms & Conditions are also available for review on our website. The shipping tab on our website also details the shipping process. 


    All items are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS," with NO warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied, by the Auctioneer, Auctioneer's employees, or the Seller. Items labeled as Brand New Scratch and Dent may be missing parts and could be damaged. NO refunds or chargebacks will be granted due to the condition of the item. We do our best to accurately represent each item and test what we can. Tested and working means that we have tested the basic functionality of the item and NO warranty is made that it will work after the buyer transports/installs it. If you purchase refrigeration, please wait ***** hours after transporting it before you plug it in or you risk damaging the unit. Keep in mind that these items are restaurant worn and have been affixed to the wall in many cases. Descriptions are believed to be accurate but are not guaranteed. If you are not certain of the condition or have any questions regarding an item, please contact the division associated with the auction the item is listed under BEFORE placing a bid.     I am rejecting this response because a company is supposed to explain what their fees are.  I understand shipping fees can vary but the packaging fees shouldn't and those fluctuated throughout the conversations I had with people in the organization.  This violates the law.  I am happy to escalate this to regulating authorities if you don't want to refund my purchase since you are violating the law by surprising customers with the amount they need to pay in fees.

    As all invoices and bids are final within our Terms and Conditions, we are unable to refund your invoice. However, if you would like to proceed with the shipping of these items we can charge a $30 shipping prep fee with your approval. This $30 fee will cover the cost of the custom box and shipping preparation needed to fit both of your items. Please note, the $15 charge listed on our website to package items is in regards to "$15 per standard box" and your items will not fit into a standard sized box. Originally we had quoted 2 custom boxes but to save on preparation costs we will ship both items together and will not be held liable for any damage that may occur while in transport. Lastly, we are still unable to quote the exact ***** shipping costs at this time and can contact you with your ***** shipping cost for approval once calculated.     I brought equipment described as brand new in the box. I paid $625 for the item, and when I got home, I plugged it in, and it won't turn on. The box was torn apart, and I want my money back. You can take your item back. They are the worst auction company, and I recommend using something other than their auction service. Also, check their BBB reviews. ******. The employee is bidding inside the auction to raise the items' price.

    PCI Auctions offers items used restaurant equipment online for auction. I bid on a piece of equipment and PCI charged my credit card. I purchased the item on 21 March 2024. First email I received after 8 days. From: PCI Auctions Sent: Friday, March 22, 2024 11:31 AM To: ********************** Cc: PCI Auctions Subject: ***** La Carbonara Invoice Your invoice will ship via ***** ground. The ground shipping process takes approximately ***** business days although we will work on getting your shipment out sooner. I finally received a response stating that they were having difficulty with their shipping which was highly suspicious. A company like PCI should state this up front before taking a consumer's money. I stated I would be filing a consumer fraud complaint at which time I received the following: Good Afternoon, After looking into this it looks like your account was disabled because back in April of 2024 you were threatening lawsuits against the company.     I am rejecting this response because:

    I had to make a case for legal action after almost two months of no response and lies from this company.

    First it was delays, then it was shipping issues and then further lip service from the company.

    It is my right under Consumer Protection Laws to demand action, and only then did these people respond.

    To date, they refuse to reinstate my account and that proves that they are in the wrong.

    I have heard of many complaints from others int he area about this location and that they never answer their phones.

    If they are so overwhelmed, then they need to be shut down.

    I warn other consumers to stay away from this branch of PCI

    The emails from them speak volumes as to their lack pf professionalism and customer service

    Company refuses to refund money and forcefully claims I Abandoned items so they can resell items and make money from me and the second buyer. Illegal and unethical scams

These items belong to you and they are all still here at our warehouse just waiting for you to pay to get them shipped out to you. You can also certainly come here to pick the items up. However, if you refuse to pay to have them shipped as well as refuse to come pick them up then we have no other option than to consider these items abandoned and forfeited.     On 4/1/24 I placed an online bid for for a listing description of (3x) 3 brand new scratch and dent! Regency 600ws1260 18 gauge stainless steel 12 x 60 solid wall shelf. 3 times your bid!. The quantity 3x the description of 3 shelves implies it would be a total of 9 shelves. I won the bid for a total of $395.31 On 4/2/24 I went to pick up my shelves and there was only 3 shelves. The office clerk said that was all I won. I explained it was 3x the description of 3 shelves totaling 9 shelves (she agreed). It is also clearly marked on the invoice with a quantity of 3 for a listing description of 3 shelves. I told her if it was only 3 shelves that is not what I bid on and I want to return them. She insisted all sales were final and they can not re-auction items. I told her I did not want to take them she insisted I had to or you would just need to come back and pick them up. I was very clear I was not taking responsibility of the purchase and I wanted to speak with management. She copied the invoice and ensured me that management would call me the next morning (4/3/24). I also expressed no one would purchase 3 shelves totaling $395.31, you can purchase them new for $49.99. The listing was clearly deceptive.4/3/24- I never received any phone calls from management. I attempted to call 10 times, left 2 voicemail messages. I called corporate and spoke with ******************. She said she could not help me but would reach out to ******* at the East Coast division. I specifically told her I want a phone call not an email.******* emailed instead of called with a generic message that did not address my issue. I emailed her back requesting a phone call on 4/4/24.4/4/24- no phone call. I sent another email requesting a call.4/5/24- no phone call. I called and left another voicemail message.Attached is the listing and invoice that clearly shows it should be 9 shelves. All of my attempts to speak with someone with no replies. And the cost of new shelves.

    your bid it means that whatever bid you place, the system will multiply it by
    the number of items in the lot. This is a typical way of selling a quantity of the same thing.

    For example, if it is listed as 2x your bid,

    and you place a bid for $5.00, your total bid would be for $10.00. In this case
    it was a 3x your bid your bid placed was $105.00, which brought your bid to $315.00,
    plus auctioneer fee, transaction fee, and sales tax fee. If you want to discuss

    I am rejecting this response because:  There was no action to resolve the issue.  I have tried to reach out to discuss this issue; I called atleast 10x, emailed atleast 3x, and left at least 3 voicemail messages.  It has been 2 weeks and I still have not received any attempts of communication back.  I am not disputing the amount was 3x the bid; I am disputing the quantity of items I received.  The listing description is clear "(3x)" the items of the description which lists 3 shelves- totaling 9 shelves.  The invoice is clear "qty:3" of a description of 3 shelves- totaling 9 shelves.  The business needs to take responsibility for their deceptive or incorrect listing of the items.  I expect a refund for the goods I paid for and did not receive.

    Company put false photos of an item on auction site. Item appeared to be in decent condition and the description only listed a missing lid as what was wrong After receiving item, the front plate was broken beyond repair and electrical cords cut with a knife so they cannot be used.I called manufacturer and was told it is irreparable.I also contacted the business and was told items are sold as is and they cannot be responsible for broken items.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    As you can see from all the pictures I uploaded, the company definitely does NOT include multiple images of the item to portray the current state as best as possible online!

    The front cover of the machine does not stay on without assistance, so therefore, the company purposely hid the fact that it was broken and wires cut.

    Again, looking at other reviews of this company, this seems to be common on how they treat their customers.

    We arent normal auction people trying to resell or whatever. We run a small church camp and wanted to buy an espresso machine for our snack shop to be able to serve our campers and staff. The $700 we did spend is a lot of money for our camp and we have absolutely nothing to show for it so our campers miss out.

    We, unfortunately, trusted that the posting was truthful and the company not a scam. A simply apology and refund of payment would have been great and shown that it was not purposely deceitful. Obviously, they care more about money than customers or reviews and will lie to get more money.

    We do apologize for the frustration that you are experiencing regarding your auction item. However, we do want to point out that we did provide 5 separate photos of this item and you can see in these photos that the front cover of the unit was intact with no additional assistance to keep it on the machine. We are extremely transparent in our terms and conditions that the items in our auctions are used equipment and we cannot guarantee or warranty anything, especially if we havent been able to test the item. This item was not tested and there was no indication in the listing that the unit was working. It is specifically stated in our terms and conditions that all descriptions are based on visual inspection, and we cannot be held liable for any hidden defects. At no time did we purposely hide anything regarding this unit.
    We do wish we could assist further regarding this but we have to stay within the boundaries of the terms and conditions of the auction.

    You are lying again!!! The front was taped on at the sides so that it didnt show in the pictures. And again, you didnt need to test the item, because you knew all along that all the wires have been cut. You already knew it didnt work, but left out that information. The only reason you chose to leave that info out was that you were hoping some poor s****** would trust a company and bid. Youre greedy and dont care who gets hurt in the process!

    I see that since my issue with you 4 months ago hasnt stopped you from deceiving people! You keep doing the exact same thing to other buyers!

    I wonder how many others youve screwed over that didnt leave a review!!!


    Just last month, you were selling an espresso machine that was cut exactly like mine and,of course, you hid that fact to bidders. Fortunately, one person saw my review and went to see if your shady business dealings were true and they are! So he didnt bid on it. Unfortunately though, someone else spent over $1000 to get a non-functioning espresso machine.

    If You would spend as much time accurately describing your items as you do defending your lies, people wouldnt be reporting you to the BBB!!!

    Again, make this right and return my money OR, if youre interested, Id be willing to sell you an espresso machine that, according to you, has no issues!!!!

    On 6/1/23 I purchased a 5 foot hood from PCI Auction, in which I paid $670.45 (invoice Invoice# *******-*****). The site advertised the dimensions of the hood a (60Wx23Dx52H). When I arrived to pick the hood up the dimensions were actually (60Wx52Dx23H), in which these measurements doesnt work for us. I explained to them that the dimensions provided on their site was incorrect. I was told by the clerk and the district manager that their was nothing they could do because the auction is closed. I explained to them that the measurements of an item has to be as intended to be used. The district manager then told me well I should be able to measure from a picture. This was very inconsiderate and ingenious to say to a customer. I was told the only thing I could do if forfeit my item but I couldnt get a refund. I explained to them that I could not afford to lose my money and I was told well its tough being a small business. Another inconsiderate and ingenious comment.

    We are sorry to hear that you still are not solved with the resolution that we agreed upon when you came to our warehouse on June 13th to discuss this with us. At that time we were able to show you that the dimensions on the listing were correct as the item was dimmed as it was pictured. We cannot take any liability for the interpretation of the dimensions on your end. During our conversation you advised us that you would let us know by June 15th if you were going to send a driver to pick up the item or if you were going to forfeit the item. Additionally, we refunded the storage charged to you for the item and agreed to not charge any additional storage while you determined what you wanted to do. We never heard from you and even reached out by email and phone but did not receive a response. At this point we cannot provide a refund as you chose to forfeit the item. Per our terms and conditions, which you electronically agreed to numerous times, there are no refunds when an item is forfeited. As we understand that this is frustrating for you, it is important to note that we did everything we could to work with you through this process.

    I won an auction for multiple items. The one of the items was listed as "tested and working" We picked up the items and they loaded them on to our truck on march 20th. The item is the listed item from the invoice ***** ** * ***** *** *********** Stainless Steel Commercial Pizza Prep Table w/ Oversized Marble Cutting Board on Commercial Casters. 115 Volts, 1 Phase. 67.5x36x43. Tested and Working! $1020.00 I reached out to the company and have included the emails also. The items could not have been tested in anyway. There was no power cord and wires where cut on the inside. The are refusing to give me a refund on the item. The falsely listed this item ad working.

    I do understand and apologize for your frustration. We believe that the cord was ripped off during pick up or transport of the item. We did confirm that this unit was tested and working for basic functionality prior to pick up. I apologize that your representative picking up your item did not bring this to my attention before she left. I have been working on the best solution to this issue since receiving your email. My best solution is for you to bring back the item to our warehouse so our General Manager can put a new plug on the unit. We would need to have the item returned to us by 3:30pm on Thursday, March 30th so our GM can put the plug on and test the item before you leave. Please call and schedule an appointment with me by 4pm today so our GM is ready when you arrive this week. Sorry for the inconvenience

    We purchased an item from the auction. It arrived damaged and we submitted the claim along with pictures and all the requested items. the auction took actionns to communicate with the shipping company and file a claim. The reibmbursmnet amount is $222 which is not fair. We paid 973 for the item and 687 for the shipping we should be imbursed for the same amount at least if not more considering the time it took for them to communicate and the time the shipping company took to respond! I got an email today that they wanted us to accept the amount and sign a release so we don't have the right to sue or seek actions in this matter which is not fair.

    We understand that you are frustrated with the outcome of your damage claim, we are also very frustrated that the awarded amount is lower than the total cost of the invoice and shipping. It is important to know that the freight company originally denied your damage claim and we fought on your behalf to appeal that denial. When we received the updated approval, we also appealed the payout amount to recoup more of your lost funds. However, the freight company denied that appeal and is only providing the originally approved amount.
    Our request for a signed Release of Claims letter is standard across all industries when dealing with damage/insurance claims and is a required step for our company to be able to provide you with the money that is rightfully yours. It is also important to note that your acceptance of our terms and conditions did put you on notice that Removal of items shall be at the expense, liability, and risk of the buyer. In addition to this, you had the full and fair opportunity to either pick up your won items or set up shipping through your own freight company should you desire. Neither of these options were chosen.
    We have done everything we can to fight for you on this and we now just want to get your damage claim paid out so you can recoup as much of your loss as possible.
