Butters Homes *** is refusing to deliver our home we ordered on July 26, 2024. Our ******************* has already issued them a check to get the home ordered. Butters gave us a blue print for a pad to put in for the new home and then changed the blue print to now requiring frost protected walls and said that is required by law. I spoke the local Building Code Official/Inspector and he said that is not required by law. Butters ******** is refusing to deliver the home that they have already recieved monies for unless we have our contractor do the frost protected walls which will cost us an additional $8,500.00. Butters reached out and offered us $4,000.00 of the price of the home to offset any additional cost but after doing research and speaking with numerous people and Commadore Homes it is not required for the frost protected walls. At this point we just want all of our money refunded to us and do not want to do business with Butters ********.

I purchased a home from Butter's Home, and the home was set in December. The home manufacturer is ********* Homes Inc. - ***** ***** ****. Shippenville, PA *****. They have repaired some items in the home, but refuse to replace the trim, stating that it meets their standards. It is shotty. They have replaced drawer fronts and cupboard doors to date, but they continue to "peel." The service manager stated the last time he was at the house, it was the last time he was coming out (4th time) and that it was the last time he wanted to send someone there. The interior doors are chipping at hinge; and they will not replace the doors. They want to caulk them. They caulked one and it looks terrible. It does NOT blend in. I stopped them from caulking the others, as I don't feel that is the resolution. I have had an expert finishing contractor look at the home and he stated that it's unacceptable and they should be correcting these items. The caulk they use does NOT blend in and looks terrible; however "meets their standards." The workmanship from ********* homes is unacceptable. There are raised spots in the floor, and because you can only feel them when you walk on them, and they aren't visibly raised, they refuse to correct them. The living room floor has a lifted hunch across the middle of the floor, and they have stated that is where the home meets. I have been in the lot model and many mobile homes, they do not have visible hunches in the middle of the floor. The lot model does not appear this way, hence why I purchased from them. The repairs they have made do not last, and the problem continues. AT THIS POINT I'M LOOKING FOR A REFUND FOR THE COST OF TO HAVE THE TRIM AND INTERIOR DOORS REPLACED IN THE WHOLE HOME BY A PROFESSIONAL FINISH CARPENTER. The home is not built level. Many cosmetic features are crooked. The home was $183,000.

    Good Morning ****-

We will be reaching out to the customer today to get a detailed quote from her professional finishing contractor, to be able to review with the manufacturer, and move forward from there. We strive for our customers to be happy in their new home, and plan to continue to provide service to ************************ to make this happen for her as well.

    Thank you!
