The thing about pressure washers, especially older units there are no computers that you can plug a diagnostic tool into. You fix one leak and it exposes another, your laying on your back in a trailer in 30 degree weather on a Saturday, do you stop and call or do you continue...It's Plumbing.

My service guy Mark agreed to meet him to pick up unit On a Sunday after the steeler game ended. Game ended shortly after 4pm. He showed up at 6:30 and then Mark had to helped he get the trailer lights working. Do you work on Sunday for free.

I had several conversations with *****. I thought we were negotiating. That wasn't the case he wanted $ 674.69 refunded and wasn't budging. I offered to give him $ 400.00 off and a 15% discount on anything he purchased from my store for a year. (He's a contract cleaner, they have a recurring needs for service and accessories).

He told me no. I said we should probably think about it for a few days. Which at least I did.

When he called me on Wednesday, he launched into telling the whole story again for about the tenth time. I told him I would handle it that day and if he wasn't satisfied with the outcome, he could proceed however he liked.

So on the 16th I reimbursed his card for the entire amount ($874.69 - See attached daily transaction report from Swipe Simple my credit card merchant). Just in case you ask me why. Hopefully he gets the message that I don't want him to come back ever. While I think in hindsight things could have been handled differently doing what he asked would be disrespectful of the time and effort my Service Tech Mark invested in his equipment.
