  Wont take items even if its sticking out the top of bin. Not outside the bin. Recyclables just lifting up lid. No warnings, Ive have never been notified before. I had to call. Wanted to give me a $1 credit for not picking up this weeks recycle when I asked to be credited for no pick up.(should I of been insulted?)They claimed I dont pay a bill for recycling, I only pay a bill for garbage and recycling pick up is a courtesy. Does that sound right? They changed their policies without telling me. Up until last year the drivers always picked up stuff outside bins. There is a new guideline in effect. Doesnt make sense, but now they wont take it if it lifts up the bin lid. I did have a very full bin but the lid still leaned over the top of the recycling. Another policy/guidline they say is to keep bins 3 feet apart on pickup day. How many people pay attention to that? They get picked upright? Long story longer just make sure you know their newest guidelines or they charge you $35 to make an extra trip. And $3 dollars per bundle of extra cardboard (not in the bin). Dont know the size guidelines on the extra bundles. Sounds like a money grab to me. It was my first time ever being made aware of this new guideline. Would appreciate a warning first. It may deter people from recycling everything. Remember when there would be 1-2 people behind the garbage truck. Theyd pick up everything. Now I cant get a 1 manned machine to take 1 bin with recyclables sticking out of the lid. It just feels like one more unnecessary thing being made into a scam. Trying to recycle, shouldnt be so hard its just some cardboard.

  Recycling service is included in the service level at no charge. The cardboard was piled several inches above the cart. We do not take any extra outside or above the cart. The lid needs to be able to be closed to prevent the lid from being ripped off when trying to dump. A few options were given to this customer to remove them & bundle them so we could pick them up @ $3/bundle or he could take them to the recycling center with no charge. We do charge a return trip charge if we have to go out on a different day than their normal pickup day, which we agreed to waive in this case. We would be happy to send another set of guidelines to the customer for future reference. We encourage everyone to recycle.

  We live on a flat dead end road .Every time it snows or flurries Vogels refuse to pick up our garbage claiming the driver is fearful to back down our road but tells us we can take our garbage can up to the next road for pick up ...well listen here we are in are 60ies we can not push a garbage can that has 3 weeks of garbage in it to the next road We PAY YOU 91.50$ every 3 months to pick up are garbage you raised are Bill for gas usage but gas has gone down .There is another garbage company that comes down are road the same day to pick up the neighbors garbage at the end of are road and they back all the way down to the end of the road how come there employees aren't afraid to go down are road this is a horrible way to treat people that pay for a service and when we call the customer service they are beyond rude and come out and tell you they don't care if the shoe would be on a the other foot and your garbage wasn't picked up for 3 werks you wouldn't be happy either

  I have been a customer for over six years and today I received some pink slip on my garbage cans because my bill was a few days overdue. I paid the bill immediately and called to have the trash picked up again. I was then told by their customer service that I they would charge me $35 to have a truck come and take my trash and recycling or I could wait a whole week until the next pickup date! This is a terrible way to treat a customer that has been with Vogel since 2016. There are no other trash companies in my area to use. Vogel has a lock on the Seven Fields area otherwise I would drop them like a bad habit.

  3 weeks in a row garbage not picked. Every time I call in and ask them to pick up our garbage, doesn't get picked up for another ***** hours. They say they are "understaffed" but neighboring streets have garbage picked up. You would think management would tell drivers they continuously miss our street, but apparently not. Worst company ever, should not have to call in to get my garbage picked up on a weekly basis which is exactly what I pay them to do.
