      We hired GCA pro painting on 1/17/23 for a project in our home with children and pets. Unfortunately, he recommended a paint that *******-******** later confirmed should never be used in such environments due to its poor durability.After issues started showing within months, we contacted the painter in April 2023. He reached out to *******-******** and made some touch-*** on May 4th, but only after several canceled appointments and excuses. He said he was waiting on a district rep, but communication stopped completely after May 20th. We didnt hear from him again until November.Frustrated, we contacted *******-******** directly. They immediately began helping and confirmed the product was wrong for our home. When we reached back out to the painter, he said he was booked until March but would fit us in. After multiple follow-*** in January, he promised to schedule us but kept delaying and missing his own commitments.He gave us several tentative dates (March 18, March 26, April 10/11), but none were kept. On April 13, he canceled again last minute and said hed reschedule within 2 weeks and never followed up.This was a long, frustrating process full of delays, broken promises, and poor communication. Most importantly, he never took ownership of using the wrong paint. I would not recommend this painter, especially if you have kids or pets, or expect professionalism and reliability.We have since hired a new painter and the job has been completed within a 3 week period.
