    Boyer and Pentek were contacted as a result of a warranty claim for a sewer line repair. The company began investigating the issue by tearing up our hillside and public sidewalk. It was determined that a majority of the line would need replaced and our insurance policy would cover a small portion of the claim. We, the homeowners, spent a few weeks talking to our underground facility companies (water, gas, etc.) to verify if they had done any underground work that may have disrupted our sewer. It was determined that nothing disrupted it. We agreed to pay out of pocket for the rest of the work through Boyer and Pentek. After MANY months of waiting, and continual lack of communication or timeline commitment, they began the replacement work just to find out they had been chasing an old dead sewage line that wasn’t even connected to our house. Nevertheless they made the repairs needed after finding the live line. They paved the road but left the sidewalk unfinished. They claimed it was never in their scope of work but we explained many times that the expectation was that our property should be returned to its original state. The quote they provided us did not say the sidewalk was not included. It simply said “limestone backfill” and “asphalt”. They verbally agreed to pave the sidewalk. The sidewalk has not been paved. We have been waiting 6+ months for our sidewalk to be addressed and they are no longer answering our emails. They have left the sidewalk e full of dirt with metal sticking out of the ground and cones everywhere. We live across from a park and it’s extremely dangerous for our older neighbors.
