I hired the movers to move my stuff from my old 2 bedroom townhouse in Cranberry Twp + a 5x10 storage unit to my new house in Homestead. I was scheduled for 8-10am on 11/19, was told it would be closer to 10. I received no communication until 10:45am that they had a guy call off and were trying to find a replacement. They didn't arrive at my place in Cranberry until 2:30pm, and showed up with a U-Haul truck that was never going to be large enough to move everything I wanted moved. They also had 0 preparation for the job since they did not bring a dolly or straps/wrapping to keep my things safe. They got about 60% of the stuff in the townhouse loaded before wanting to go to the storage unit. Even with that, only 50% of the stuff their was loaded and we then drove down to my new house in Homestead. Once there, they parked at the wrong house and bothered my neighbors because their GPS couldn't get them to the right house. Once they saw me on the sidewalk, they pulled the truck up with the rear door open. Only 1 item fell out, but it could've been so much worse. I saw that because they had no straps, everything had fallen all over the place. Multiple pieces of furniture are damaged from the move, including my dining room table (big scratch on top), dressers (missing wheels, deep scratches, split boards), and more delicate items like my standing lamp were destroyed. To top it off, they left my stuff wherever they wanted after about 20% was unloaded. They were mostly unwilling to take things up the stairs even though I had given direction of which rooms to put them in, probably because it was getting late, but it's not my fault they started 4.5 hours late.
