  Horrible Experience. Brought in my sick cat. Waited 6 hours with a distressed pet. Never seen by vet. My cat was euthanized several days later. Apparently he was sick enough but according to MedVet, he wasn't a priority. While i understand the triage system, the waiting room emptied several times during my wait. I cannot attest to the vets -their care and compassion as I never had the chance to meet them. However, the 3 receptionists on staff could have checked on my pet and I just to update us as to where we were in the queue. This would have provided some comfort, reassurance and guidance whether to stay or not. They did not. I will never recommend this business to anyone ever.************

  Id give them zero stars other than the fact they had 1 vet tech who actually tried there. I took my sick frenchie there who apparently had mild jaundice and sat there from 4:55pm until 11:40pm only to have no one help in anyway, shape or form. I literally just sat there, every hour or two Id go to front desk only to be told another few minutes. This was by far my worst vet experience in 15 years as a pet owner. This place needs totally restructured from upper management down, this was a pathetic excuse for a business that is supposed to help animals. Someone who loves animals should never even entertain the thought of taking a loved animal there and this place needs to be seriously looked into. It wasnt just myself, I witnessed at least 5 other instances of the same scenario while I wasted six hours of my pets life sitting there. People were coming out of rooms they had sat in for close to two hours waiting for answers and they discussed insane amounts of money right in the open putting pet owners on the spot. This business showed a lack of interest in their main income while sitting there like all was fine, long story short a place like this shouldnt have an avenue to rob and prey on people while they are most vulnerable. Shame on them

  First let me say I understand critical vs non. However, you cant tell me that you are dealing with 4 dying patients after I have been there for 9 1/2 hrs. If the animal is dying and you are being compassionate like you say put the dog down dont make the owners spend $$$$ to get treated. My chihuahua fell 8 ft. The triaged and drugged her and then I held her for most of the next 9 hrs. No x-rays, no updates. After 9 hrs I go out front because I was put in a room with nowhere to set my poor dog except the floor. The nurse or tech that I asked how much longer told me I have 4 actively dying patients and I should wait. Shes had clients wait up to 20 hrs. I left. The next day I get a bill for $88 for triage. That was just taking her vitals. I believe they are just milking people with dying pets for money. My total bill there $146 triage and pain meds no ******* vet saw her first thing the next day, x-rays, neurological exam and meds. $311. Please stop these people from scamming pet lovers out of money. My neighbors son had a similar experience with them as well. Only his dog was bleeding from another dog attack. They put in stitches almost 14 hrs later and the stitches came out 2 days later because they should have used staples on the poor dog. Shut this place down.

  This place is an absolute joke. My dog and I have been sitting here for 8 hours as he is actively bleeding from his leg unseen. Some lady comes in and her dog scratched her paw pads and was in and out within 10 minutes. As my dog is bleeding. This is a horrible establishment. Dong bring your animal here.

  They were slow and showed no compassion like my normal group at ********. ******** is excellent and staff too. They make my baby feel special. ******** ok, but extremely slow and workers are **** and uncaring. The vet was ok though.

  If your pet needs emergency care, it's probably a serious situation and the odds of everyone leaving with a happy story are slim. I get it, but everything about MedVet was awful.***** went in to be spayed at our vets office and never came home. Her blood wasn't clotting so our vet took her to MedVet. MedVet was giving her fentanyl for pain while in their intensive care clinic and was accidentally overdosed. When they called (two hours after it happened) to tell us about it, it was totally downplayed.They said they took her for a walk (my dog who they're trying to get to clot) and we even discussed how to care for her when she came home! Three hours later they called and got approval to do a transfusion. Forty minutes later they called and said to get there as fast as we could. We arrived nine minutes later and were told she had already passed. There were no apologies, no answers, no empathy. After calling many times I finally received her chart and saw that ***** was given 48x the dose of fentanyl that she should have gotten. They gave her narcan three times. She was likely brain dead after that. The chart that our vet received was different from the chart that I received. Everything was off.

  Their professional Vet Thieves and they change up the price they give you. I was quoted $500 firm and then they come back and say up to $900 thinking I would pay nearly double the doctors est. They were very rude, and tried to hit me $180 for a free estimate that they promised over the phone to confirm . They wanted to charge me for unnecessary diagnostic tests in addition for a murmur that was not the reason I came in only for 4-6 stitches! For a cut on my 8 month old boxer. They said over the phone the bill would be $500-$800 but had to see the one inch tear in my boxers skin, they said well confirm exact price if you bring her in. Brought her in 8pm and they turned into car salesman mode. Im like you can see the cut give me a form price ! They then say $180 for doctor to give free estimate. They never disclosed any fee to walk in the door they offered to look at the cut over the phone for free then they changed up! The doctor had a bad attitude told me $500 FIRM then they tried getting me to sign for up to $900. Thats trickery. Its a simple stitch job for a vet. Their deception and attitude is the reason for this review.. if they would not have been so deceitful I wouldnt have cared about the price gouging, but What set me off was they changed up from $500- up to $900 and didnt disclose any fee for me walking in the door. They lied and said bring her in well give you a free upfront exact estimate then they tried hitting me up for $180 and trying to scare me saying my 8 month old boxer that has been vet checked last week could have a heart murmur, total scare tactics. Ive owned 15 dogs and I know all they need to do is stitch up the dog, its not rocket science people. They trick you into coming in without telling you its $180 for the doctor to view a small cut , they told me they will look at it free of charge and they tried getting me for up to $900 when doc said $500 FIRM!

  Med vet the worst. Totally their negligence that almost killed my cat. They failed to offer or provide collar for my cat after having catheter for 3 days. Had to pay ****** to reputable ER vet to save his life. *************************
