    I hired ACM Roofing to install a roof on my deck. However, they did not install flashing on the roof. I wasn't aware of this until November 2024 when water began leaking through the roof. I contacted the business three times since November 25th and have not received a clear course of action to resolve this issue.When ACM Roofing installed the roof, they also installed electricity for the lights and a ceiling fan. The water getting inside the roof poses a serious risk when coupled with the electrical work they also completed. I'm concerned about a fire hazard, further damage, or death. At this juncture, I'm asking for the flashing to be installed.

    I have some videos of the roof installed by ACM Roofing showing no signs of the flashing ever being installed. I attached them to this email but they had to be sent as links due to the size. If you aren't able to view them via those links, I'd be happy to send them another way. 

    Another detail that might be pertinent: the roof was installed last year, but the rear of the roof isn't visible from the street or any of the windows. You are only able to inspect it by actually being on the roof, which is something I didn't do. I never would've even thought to check had water not begun leaking onto the porch in heavy streams.

    This has been taken care of. Siding looks like it ripped off we counter flashed this. First call was after thanksgiving and this was taken care of within 10 days. I think it was very short for a claim to be filed. Things happen and the way it was built prior it didnt have step flashing we removed the existing roof. Brought the siding down onto with j channel and as the contract read it did not say anything about step flashing or counter flashing. Regardless we went and fixed it and put up counter flashing immediately. I think this should be taken off all together as he didnt even wait the 30 days.

    On or around 10/11/23 we hired this company to redo our roof because we were selling the house. This company damaged our chimney and said it was like that until I proved with drove photos it wasn't. They half a** fixed it. On 12/3/23 we woke up to a chunk of our ceiling down and water pouring into our bedroom. The leak was from around our other chimney. When contacted they ended up sending someone out when I wasn't home and all they did was supposedly caulk the issue and then threw the garbage in out neighbors yard and razor blades and nails all around our house and the baby's toys. When I contacted them again to see when someone was coming out to look at the damages caused by their scrappy work they refused to respond and also refused to give me their insurance info so I could contact them about the damages to our ceiling. I've reached out 2 more times and still go no response from them. I just want my ceiling fixed or money back because it's ceiling/wall damage.
