    In September 2022 we asked The Bug Whisperer to put together an estimate for trapping and removing wildlife from our soffits & ceilings, as well as sealing up the holes after the animals are removed. On 9/20/22 we paid them $376.48 prior to work starting because they said they needed up front payment in order to order needed supplies. It's now 2/15/23 and The Bug Whisperer did not complete the work (we used another company), nor have we been able to reach him despite calling, texting, and emailing asking for a full refund. A detailed timeline of events: 9/24/22: They texted saying that they think it's a family of squirrels, and that they have placed a one way cage to allow them to exit but no re-enter. They said they'd reach out in a few days to see if we were still hearing noises in our ceiling. 10/1/22: They did not reach back out, and so I texted them to tell them we were still hearing noises. 10/2/22: They replied that there could still be a squirrel inside and that they'd come back on 10/4/22 to check things out again. 10/15/22: They never came on 10/4/22, nor was there any word from them, so we reached back out asking when they'd be by. 10/17/22: They replied they'd come back 10/18/22 or 10/19/22. 10/22/22: Not hearing from them again, we reached out to ask when we could expect them. 10/24/22: The reply that they were going to stop by that day, but the rain delayed them, and they'll be by 10/25/22. 10/28/22: Didn't hear anything from them again, we reached out. 10/31/22: Didn't hear anything from them again, we reached out. 11/1/22: They said things take longer sometimes and that this process was normal, and they'd have things resolved that week.That was the last time we've heard from them. They haven't returned any texts, calls, or emails since then. Another company completed the work and said there were no other traps already there. We'd like our $376.48 back because all/most of the work was not done.
