      Had them come and do mold removal in my basement 5 months ago. They talked us in to so many extra things to cost more money, by the end of it we paid $17,000 and now I have mold back in my basement and they are saying theyre not responsible. Ive expressed to ***** about the mold being back and also how my furnace no longer works due to them doing mold removal and he stated not once but twice that they didnt touch the furnace which means you didnt remove all the mold. Also there was suppose to be rubber paint used on the walls to prevent any mold coming back and its just regular paint that they put over top of the mold. Didnt remove mold whatsoever.

      My mother hired this company to do a complete mold remediation of her basement. She was charged an exorbitant amount of money and talked into doing way more than was necessary. The work was completed in the fall of 2019. By the winter of 2023 the dehumidifier ***** Fe unit had likely failed but due to my mom's failing health, was unable to go down the stairs to see that. In February 2024 she passed away and when cleaning out her house, we found that the basement was literally dripping with condensation and there was white mold everywhere. Water was pooling on the floors. I contacted the company and they came out and looked at it and they proceeded to email the person in charge of the unit who corroborated that it had failed. In emails back and forth from two people from Gladhills they said they thought since the unit was purchased during COVID years that it was probably made with shoddy materials. Their two options to me were buying a new unit at cost or they would supply materials to fix it and I'd hire someone and pay the labor. I said that as it likely failed while in warranty but Mom was too sick to see it and that it was likely poor quality to begin with that they should make good on it and replace it at their expense. My Mom had put her trust in this company and we felt they should stand by their work and make it right. I contacted them half a dozen times with no response. I would like to warn others that they have no integrity and do not stand by their work. I would highly recommend finding another company or else you might find yourself stuck as well. In the end we bought a $200 dehumidifier that is doing a splendid job, it's just a shame that my mom spent $11000 for nothing.

      This message is in response to a review left by Eileen Keyser, the daughter of our customer Mrs. Sharon Tamburello.

      Ms. Keyser we are very sorry to hear that your mother has passed away.

      Mrs. Sharon Tamburello in 2021 signed a contract to have the dehumidifier installed by our company and all work was performed to Mrs. Tamburello’s satisfaction with signed paperwork stating satisfaction of our work and full payment. Up until we received an email from her daughter Ms. Keyser there has not been any correspondence from our customer Mrs. Tamburello that showed anything but satisfaction with the work performed over the many years Mrs. Tamburello was a customer.

      We provided the daughter, Ms. Keyser all the information for the Santa Fe Manufacturer’s warranty however we understand during the grieving period with undue stress and heirs trying to maximize the profits on the sale of their mother’s belongings that this may cause some to turn their anger toward others if it interferes in that profitability.

      Ms. Keyser we are once again very sorry for your loss and have provided the information you needed to reach out to the dehumidifier manufacturer for parts/replacement cost. Any dehumidifier equipment that is sold & installed by our company comes with a 1-year warranty then the manufacturer’s warranty kicks in just like with any business that sells dehumidifiers.

      Ms. Keyser can provide the BBB with the warranty she received after purchasing the $200 dehumidifier and you will certainly see that it has a very limited warranty just as any manufacturer provides.

      We responded immediately to Ms. Keyser via phone and email many times with verifiable proof of those conversations.

      The Gladhill family has been in business over 25 years with 10’s of thousands of very satisfied customers and anyone reading this review can clearly see this attack against our company is coming from grief and is not a legitimate claim of negligence.

      We wish Ms. Keyser and her siblings the very best on the sale of their mother’s property.
